Review: Easy To Do With Little Hands! - I was really nervous to try this because I always struggled to get paint handprints from my little ones but this kit was very easy! I am also thrilled that I got my 9 month old's hand and foot from only half the kit so I was able to do my 3 year old's hand with the other half. I didn't care for the bright paint colors though so I used wall paint that we had. It all turned out perfect!
Review: Lovely Kit - Has Everything You Might Need - Simple Project for Kids, Too! - I ordered this to take paw prints from my two 13.5 year old dogs. I figured I should do it now as opposed to in a time of stress right after they pass someday. My dogs are small, so I was able to get three good prints from one box, and I still have some of the clay leftover. I used a cookie cutter to cut the shape around the prints since the cutter provided is for childrens’ hands and is too large for my small dogs’ paws. The kit was so easy to use, the clay was moist and workable, and the additional decorative elements included are great. I will probably frame my paw prints with photos as a keepsake for the future, so I didn’t require the ribbons, but they are nice. After getting my dogs prints, it took about two days for the clay to dry thoroughly. I took someone else’s advice and covered them loosely with a damp paper towel to prevent cracking - Worked a treat! If you’re making ornaments with your kids, I think this is a great kit.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this work for a 3 y/o and a 5 y/o? What is the size of each round for the print?**
A: If you are doing just a hand print it will work for a 3 or 5 year old. Keep in mind this is hard clay not lightweight one.I would get lightweight one that way you can strach it more and make it thinner. They are more durable and you can hang them on a tree.These will break if you drop them but are more beautiful for display on shelfs.

**Q: If I don’t open the package, what is the shelf life of the clay?**
A: About 12-18 months.  Freezing it will actually prevent the loss of moisture allowing it to last even longer without affecting the clay.

**Q: Is the clay brittle once it dries? I wonder if I would be able to ship the keepsake internationally without it breaking.**
A: No

**Q: Are you supposed to let it dry on the aluminium foil or parchment paper?**
A: I just left mine on the foil and placed it on a paper plate for extra suppprt and let it dry.  I set it on top of fridge so it wouldn't get disturbed.

I was really nervous to try this because I always struggled to get paint handprints from my little ones but this kit was very easy! I am also thrilled that I got my 9 month old's hand and foot from only half the kit so I was able to do my 3 year old's hand with the other half. I didn't care for the bright paint colors though so I used wall paint that we had. It all turned out perfect!

I ordered this to take paw prints from my two 13.5 year old dogs. I figured I should do it now as opposed to in a time of stress right after they pass someday. My dogs are small, so I was able to get three good prints from one box, and I still have some of the clay leftover. I used a cookie cutter to cut the shape around the prints since the cutter provided is for childrens’ hands and is too large for my small dogs’ paws. The kit was so easy to use, the clay was moist and workable, and the additional decorative elements included are great. I will probably frame my paw prints with photos as a keepsake for the future, so I didn’t require the ribbons, but they are nice. After getting my dogs prints, it took about two days for the clay to dry thoroughly. I took someone else’s advice and covered them loosely with a damp paper towel to prevent cracking - Worked a treat! If you’re making ornaments with your kids, I think this is a great kit.

This product was great. Very easy to use. After rolling out on parchment paper, I had my 8 month old son put his hand in the clay. I used the provided circle to then cut out the hand print. I used a knife to ensure the clay was fully cut around the ring before pulling off the excess, and it worked great. The circle came out pretty clean. It is still drying, but the package says the clay is compatible with acrylic paint, so I will be painting it after. The stamps we're not the easiest to use, but manageable. For the price, it was exactly what I was expecting. It's great.
