First let me say that I am always very nervous about ordering any clothing online. I have bigger upper arms and a bigger butt! I have an hourglass shape and sometimes getting a good fit can be hard! I have the kind of shape that makes jeans “gap” in the waist when they fit everywhere else! So I was worried about this lace and my arms. I needed a cute, classy dress for a wedding we are attending in two weeks & I fell in love with this style immediately! After over an hour of reading reviews and trying to compare the height, weight & size bought by others who had purchased this dress, I was back & forth trying to decide between a medium and a large. I finally decided to go with a size large! (I am 37 years old, 5’6” and 170lbs. I normally wear a medium or larger or a size 8/10 (rarely a 12 if it runs small), like I said I have big upper arms, and a big butt). I got the dress 2 days after ordering it (Thank you Amazon Prime) and was first impressed by the quality of the dress! It is made of a thick material and doesn’t feel scratchy or cheap at all! I was so surprised by this given the price point! As others have said, it has a “rubber” line along the inside of the shoulders and the chest area to keep the dress from sliding down. It is a beautiful navy blue! The material is so soft, it almost feels like cotton, which makes it incredibly comfortable! The dress hits just below my knees (again... I’m 5’6” tall with average length legs). The large fits GREAT! I *probably* could have gotten away with the medium but the large doesn’t look baggy or frumpy at all. My husband said, “Wow Babe! That fits like a glove and you look sexy and classy!” So YES! I am very satisfied with my purchase. I will absolutely be ordering from this buyer again and I’m excited to try other dresses now! I know you’ve been reading tons of reviews at this point and are probably on the fence, so let me reassure you... JUST BUY IT! Other reviewers have said the return/exchange process was incredibly easy and FAST so worst case, you aren’t a fan, you got to try it on and you got a QUICK refund! This is a very pretty cocktail dress. Arrived well packaged and on time. I am 5' 6'', 155 lbs. First I ordered this in a Medium, since many reviews stated this might run a bit large, but not for me... I have quite wide shoulders but only an A cup, so the Medium felt rather tight... Using the free returns offered by the seller, I reordered all 3 colors (black, dark blue and dark red) in a Large size. The inner lining in the bust area is a bit loose for me in the Large, but that is because I am an A cup, so it is not fault of the design, I usually have this problem anyways...Nothing that 10 minutes of alteration/stiching would not solve... B and up will not have this problem... elastic lace outer shell hugs my body well, shoulders stay put, chest and waist area is nice and snug without being constrictive or too tight, shirt falls just below the knee. This dress is very comfortable and looks really pretty on! Black is a must, the dark blue is very elegant and lovely color and the deep red (I 'd probably can call it maroon) is very romantic... I think I might just have to keep all 3! :) Price is very reasonable at under $35, quality is great, I highly recommend this dress and seller!

I am 5'6". 159 lbs. 36" bust, 32" ribs, 28" waist. Hip measurements don't matter for this dress. The arm material is stretchy so it's a great dress if you don't want to show your arms. There is a zipper on the L side of the dress where your ribs are so this part is not stretchy. Given my measurements I ordered a M but was surprised to find the middle had no stretch and luckily the dress fit perfectly. It wasn't too tight (like a glove) or too loose. Something that wasn't mentioned in reviews I read was that there are elastic straps that go over both shoulders to help keep the dress in place, which was nice. I wore a nude colored bra, which worked out fine (if you're worried about needing a strapless bra). I was really worried about color because some photos are super bright and some are super dark (see photos in review for examples; some with/without flash and some with/without editing). Looking at the dress it is definitely more towards Navy than it is towards Royal, although some photos with flash make it look more of a Royal color. This dress feels elegant, feels formal, feels well-made although I did have to trim the top edge of the lace on the neck and backline because it had some random threads sticking out (please see photos in this review), and I received a lot of compliments. For the price, expedient shipping, fit, and feel I would definitely buy this dress again. :)

This dress is elegant and stylish, and a great bargain for the price. When ordering, however, I missed that some reviewers were noting that this dress runs about a size large. I first ordered a size small (usually my "normal" size) that was slightly baggy in the arms and loose in the waist; to me it looked slightly sloppy and not like the picture of the model. For reference, I'm 5'3", 125 lbs., 34B. I am now returning the small, but reordered an extra small, which fits as I would like it to (form fitting in the bust/waist and the sleeves) and still has enough stretch that it's comfortable, and not too tight. One thing I did notice, however, when comparing the two sizes is that the original dress (small) I'd purchased was more of a deep royal blue, whereas the x-small I am keeping is a darker, more true navy. So there is some slight inconsistency with the dyeing process, though minimal. All in all, this is a great special occasion dress that I look forward to wearing again after the event for which I purchased it for. If you're unsure of your size, I recommend ordering your "normal" size and then a size down so you can return the size you don't need, and then won't have to stress about getting the right size if you're like me and waited until the last minute to buy before you need to wear it!

This dress is gorgeous. The quality is great. I am size M with a bigger bust. I bought M and fits beautifully. It is slightly stretchy so feels comfortable and fits great even with a bigger bust. It's elegant and classy.

Its awesome

Just got mine today. Fits perfectly I’m about 5’6” and slim order an x-small Black. The sleeves are a bit of an awkward length, nothing a sewing machine can’t fix, and personally I’d like the skirt a little shorter, once again nothing a sewing machine can’t fix.

Very flattering got tons of compliments but I don’t recommend it for girls with smaller chest sizes ( I’m a 32 A, and wore a small. I was constantly pulling it up in the front all night to try and keep everything covered ) I wore it to a holiday semi formal banquet supper
