Cold Steel Finn Bear

The Finn Bear knives are the best steak knives ever! Super sharp and cut almost anything. We have used this brand for many years and our old ones finally got to a point where they wouldn't hold an edge. It was our mistake; we kept putting them in the dishwasher...oops!! Handle is comfy and they have a nice balance.

It makes me want to stop spending money on expensive knives. Seriously, sheath is marginal but the knife is awesome. I've used it fishing and rabbit hunting and I'm ordering one for my squirrel hunting buddy. you really can't lose with this knife.

Not bad wish the handle was made of a different material, and the sheath was cheap, but good strong blade, and sharp like we've come to expect from cold steel.

this is one of the best knifes i own. you can not go wrong with cold steel never ever. just the best.

On time. Right size for utility use

It is an okay knife, but for the price, I am going to stick with Moras.

Great and cheep knife

This knife is really good considering the price point. It has decent steel that can take a great edge easily and holds that edge fairly well. I made mine into a clip point because I just like it better. If you’re on the fence about this knife, buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

ペンドルトン ライトハンター シース：滅多な事じゃ抜けそうもない保持力、それでいて片手での抜き差しも可能（要コツ）。 刃がどちら向きでも収納できるが逆向きに入れると保持力ゼロでスコスコ。酷評が多いが個人的には嫌いじゃない。 ブレード：野菜のスティックカットには向いてない。刃厚約3mm ハンドル：握り易く保持しやすい。安心して使える。 フィンベア シース：左右どちらの腰に付けても片手での抜き差しが容易。収納時の見た目（スッキリした一体感）が好き。 ブレード：形状は違えどライトハンター同様、野菜のスティックカットには向いてない。刃厚約2.5mm ハンドル：好き嫌いが別れそうな形状（涙形）だが不満は無い。個人的には好き。 ピースメーカー3 シース：意図的なのか片手で抜くのが非常に困難。刃の向きに関係無く収納できるが入れにくい。 ブレード：野菜のカット等、包丁的な用途だと一番使い易い。フルタング。刃厚約2.5mm ハンドル：弾力のある樹脂、というかゴム？経年劣化が不安。前後に鍔様のストッパーがあるので安心感はある。が愛着は湧かない。 総評：フィンベアにピースメーカー3のブレードを付けた物が欲しいｗ

汚れや水を気にしなくてよいプラシースはありだが、ハンドル形状は一寸持ちにくい。 ブレードの硬度が低いのかシャープなエッジがつかない。（私の研ぎ技術のせいかも） 同メーカーのブッシュマンは鋭利なエッジがつきますが…。 フルーツナイフの代りなら使えますよ。

箱だしは研ぎがあまいので研いでから使った方がスパスパ切れますよ。料理におすすめ

釣りで使いました。脳締めと血抜きは難なくオーケーです。近くの流木で2時間ほどバトンやフェザーの真似事をして見ましたが刃こぼれもなく、箱出しと変わりませんでした。その後研いで見ましたが更に切れ味が良くなりました。難を言えばグリップの溝に汚れが入って掃除が必要です。
