Honeypot Furniture Amara - Grey Upholstered 2 Seater Sofa | Built to Last

Had this for just over a month and happy with the purchase. Really solid design when in either sofa or bed set up. Easy to switch between modes, my 6yr old can do it with ease and has done many, many times. Looks great and comes with plenty easily accessible storage. The switch between sofa & bed is also space efficient - move it a few inches out from the wall, fold down and it's done with plenty space left in the room. Folding up or down takes seconds. Company were a pleasure to deal with, shipping was free to Glasgow and the guys delivering unpacked it, put in place & gave me demo. There is a groove/cavity running right down the middle when in use as a sofa bed which is not ideal, unless two people wanted clearly defined sleeping quarters, also hinges about a foot in at each end of the groove which may result in a rather sore knee during activities other than sleeping. Extra padding at either end also means the head/foot areas are slightly raised. Ongoing I will probably look for something to fill in the groove when using as a bed....but it does the job as is. Overall delighted with the product, beats sofa beds at two and three times the price for quality, looks, design, ease of use and space efficiency...for some minor compromises in bed mode.

This sofabed is just as described, extraordinary storage capacity, easy transformation from seat to bed. Sturdy construction, fabric better looking than photos. It is foam padding, quite firm but I find it comfortable. The delivery was as stated in the order confirmation and I got a call the day before to advise of 1 hour delivery time slot. The guys delivering were very helpful, removing heavy old sofa outside for me and demonstrating mechanism of sofabed before leaving. Happy with the price, seems very good value for money, and a happy customer too.

This sofa bed is a good size and looks nice. Minor issues - wooden section on front of the sofa at the bottom is not aligned, slightly wonky compared to the cut out it is meant to be a surround for. - there was damage to the base of the storage section, we didn't spot this until after the delivery men had left. - the delivery men broke a light fitting on our landing when delivering the sofa. This was documented on the delivery slip but so far we have not received any response from the company. Be warned - when they deliver they hand you a notice and tick list to sign. The note explains that they are not liable for any damage as a result of the delivery. I only read this after they'd broken the light fitting! Sofa itself is great and a good size, best to give yourself a few mins to check it over before signing the form.

I liked the helpfulness of the company to promptly arrange a different date for delivery. It’s heavy so I liked the fact the delivery guys took it upstairs unwrapped it and showed me how it works. They also give you delivery window and call to say how far away they are. I love the look of it. It looks amazing. It’s easy to convert but needs a fair bit of arm strength ( thinking of the elderly) I thought the bed is very hard but turns out to be very comfortable. Loads of storage space. Glad I bought it although only had it for a short while and no one has spent the night on it yet. Come back in a year. Edit: I've had this bed over 3 years and it's still great. Comfortable and looks like new.

This really is as good, in fact a lot better, than I had hoped. OK, it's slightly firmer than I might have wished but, in every other respect this is, for the price paid, a superb piece of furniture. It's solid and well made, the fabric cover is tolerant and a great colour that blends well with other furnishings. And, importantly, it converts to a comfortable bed very easily. Add to this, the supplier is efficient and helpful, the delivery team punctual, caring and polite. Genuinely surprised and delighted that this sofa bed exceeded my expectations.

The sofa is well worth the money, very well made and easy to use. The storage underneath is fab to store its bedding easily, very easy to access. A little hard to start but that’s the same as all blew sofas and I feel the foam will soften with use. A guest who has already slept on it said it was very comfy. Great delivery and the guys delivering were amazing and very helpful.

decided to get this for our second bedroom, which at this time is used as a spare, in case we have people over. it is a bit on the firm side, but we like it this way, it may not be for everyone. as a couch it's amazing, you can really stretch out and a nice nap, pillows are nice as well. storage space is a bonus a quite accomodating for a king duver, pillows, the works. don't think it would be good as a "daily driver" for a bed, as the firmness might be a bit much, but for a couple of nights, it's an amazing bed for guests.

Brought this to replace a single bed in our spare room. this was delivered very quickly and the delivery men took it to the room of my choice and unpacked it. ( be warned they do not take the packaging with them you have to dispose of this yourself. Upon sitting on the sofa it is very firm but also comfortable. it is very easy to turn into a double bed and again although it is very firm the couple that stayed for the night thought it was very comfortable. the storage underneath is ample for a quilt/ pillows and sheets ready for it to made up. It also has a nice touch of having 2 matching cushions
