These pliers worked really well for removing stripped screws that a normal screwdriver couldn’t grab anymore. The jaws grip the screw head firmly and make it much easier to back stubborn screws out without a lot of frustration. The build quality feels excellent and they have a solid, precise feel in the hand. You can tell they’re well made. Overall, a very handy tool to keep around if you work on projects where stripped or rusted screws occasionally show up.

These pliers saved me when I had completely given up hope on a stripped screw. I had already tried the rubber band trick with no luck, but the Vampliers gripped it on the first try. The build quality is excellent — the grip is comfortable and secure, and they’re incredibly easy to use. This is now a permanent fixture in my toolbox. Unreal!! The 6mm screw flush with back panel of my Lexicon Alex Digital FX Processor was stripped and seized. Added Liquid Wrench the day before to work off freeing the bolt from oxidation where it screwed into the back panel. My advice is to gently align the jaws of the Vamplier with the screw head (so as to not scratch the paint on the panel), close the jaws, then turn. After a few attempts, the screw came out!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to the soul who thought this tool up!!

Insane quality and efficiency! I was literally hopeless and about to give up until trying these pliers. I tried anything and the screw only got worse but was easily able to remove it using vaampliers Couldn’t record since the beginning cause I had to use both hands but it was a tough and to me gripless one

Never had a tool that required an invite into my home before. And for some reason these refused to work for a while after we accidentally spilled some rice. But aside from that these pliers work great! Had a couple of stripped 4 inch round top screws stuck in some wood and these pliers had no issues getting them out. The pliers feel solid and the grips are comfortable to hold.

This is easily another one of my favorite tools. I was a bit skeptical about the length at first, but it turns out to be perfect for getting into strategic, tight locations where standard pliers just won't fit. The build quality on these is top-notch (love that they’re Made in Japan), and the teeth grip onto damaged or rusted screws like nothing else. They’ve already saved me a ton of frustration on a few "impossible" jobs. If you deal with stripped fasteners, you need these in your kit.

Worked exactly as promised! Perfect size made short work of removing a stripped out grip screw without damaging my grips on my 1911.

A couple years ago I bought a cheap stand for my computer monitor. The stand came with bolts to attach the rear plate, but the bolts were made of some kind of soft metal that immediately stripped the first time that the plate was attached. While trying to remove one of the bolts (to replace with something better), the head snapped off. So now I had one bolt completely stripped and un-screwable, and another bolt secured in the monitor with no head to even attempt un-screwing. I expected the pliars to be able to pull out the stripped bolt, but figured I needed to drill into the broken bolt and risk damaging the monitor. Well, these pliars were able to remove all of the bolts with ease and leave the monitor working and intact. Definitely worth the price to me even for this single task. I am in love with these things now and we are getting married in June. My parents were a little surprised at first but luckily they have been extremely supportive and have even stood up for us when the need has arisen. Life can be crazy and unpredictable but I know in my heart and soul that these pliers are the only tool for me.

Echt ein Lebensretter bei festgerosteten Schrauben die weich wurden. Nicht immer kann man was anschweißen, neue Bits einschlagen oder aufbohren. Hat mir schon ein paar mal SEHR geholfen. Klare Kaufempfehlung

I saw these advertise in a magazine and found them on Amazon. Great for gripping mangled screwheads, avoiding the need to drill the screws out. When you need them, you need them, not your normal pliers.

Heard the engineer brand was essentially the same, but the equivalent engineer didn't have the cap. Ordered these and the larger engineer model. They are both fantastic and are my new favorite tools. I managed to get a very stuck bbq screw off with a combination of both of them, but the second screw required my oscillating tool. So they won't magically open every rusted annoying screw. That said they are great for a bunch of purposes and ignore the reviews that say they are equivalent to dollar store pliers. These are heavy duty tools. That look and feel great and serve a unique purpose. I'm keeping both as one really needs both sizes. Highly impressed. Think the larger vampliers are probably overpriced. But they are worth it. Note. The engineers and these are so similar that I don't think they are a copy. I think they are made in the same factory. Like identical in design. Either brand is a good choice.
