Quite good but with a few problems
It's quite good, the only problems I had so far were that for some reason the front part scratched up right after the first use of like 20 seconds and the other problem is that it is very addictive to play with and I just can't stop using it because this mechanism is so satisfying! This also made me unable to sleep because it's so addictive.

Well made
STANLEY FATMAX measuring tape is the best I've ever bought and I have bought alot doing renovations, i,d say I've probably bought 30-40 during 25 years. The reason this measuring tape is so good is because you can literally extend it over 11' and it won't buckle the writing is very clear and very well made. I recommend this will be your last measuring tape you ever by unless you break or lose it or it gets stolen by other trades men.

One Year Later—Still Going Strong
I've been using this Stanley FATMAX tape measure for a little over a year now, and it's easily one of the best tape measures I've owned. As a handyman, it gets used almost every single day, and it's held up great. The extra-wide blade makes the markings much easier to read, and the standout distance is excellent. It stays rigid much longer before bending over, which makes measuring by yourself a lot easier. The lock works well, the case has held up to daily use, and it's become one of those tools I always make sure I know where it is. If I had one suggestion, it would be to offer a version that's a little lighter, but that's a very minor complaint. Overall, this is a durable, accurate, and dependable tape measure that I'd definitely buy again. Highly recommended.
