Gardner Bender DS-530 Duct Seal, 5 lb. Pug,Gray

I'm using this material, five large blocks, for a pellet catch I fabrication from aluminum plate. The duct seal receives the pellets very quietly and stop them ease. We're only shooting a .22 cal pellet from a Gamo break barrel and this product is perfect. I am using a larger amount than most so the target is a little heavy and this simply adds to the stability. Great product, great price, wonderful company.

Fantastic for sealing up around pipes coming thru the floor . seals off any crack from your basement or crawl space . also from outside . Way better than caulking !

Unlike seemingly most other reviewers I bought this to actually seal ducts and thecentral air handler of my HVAC system. I wanted to use this for the access panel for easy removal for cleaning. I was leery using this on the central air handler access panel and edge of plenum boxes, I honestly didn't think it would be able to seal against the high pressure at these spots. I was very pleasantly surprised, I started out using giant plugs to make sure was effective and then out of curiosity worked down in size, it's perfect. You can roll it into pencil width and push into seams, and/or use golf ball plugs for knockouts or around drain outlet, air seal perfect in both scenarios. I even got some wet (unrelated to product use) on accident- it continued to hold against air leaks and "dried out" back to prior consistency. Never truly hardens and easy to remove with putty knife. 3 weeks in and holding up great, have even removed and reapplied the same stuff and it continues to work great.

Good back stop for pellets. Great for my 25 yard range a using a high powered pellet rifle. Reduced noise and plus.

Purchased several times before, at sub $12 and amazing price

I use this in my indoor pellet trap. Stops a medium power (550 fps) pellet dead in it's track. Lasts forever (I have an outdoor trap that has taken well over 10000 shots and still works perfect). Stick to just about everything and does not slump or release. It is a little hard to cut but that's ok as I want that stopping power. Just for an idea of amount you need I built a 12"x12" trap and used 6 Lbs to completely cover the backstop at about 3/4" thick (that stops both my .177 and .22 pistols). This stuff never hardens and only requires an occasional cleaning (I pick out the used pellets and re-spread the areas that have bulged up).

I’ve been using this product for years. It never dries out and its uses are limited only by your imagination. Great stuff for AC, electrical conduit, condensation issues. Even stops leaking rain gutter joints

I needed to plug holes and cracks against cockroaches. I used lots of caulk at boundaries and expanding foam for large spaces. This stuff is best for those inbetween gaps and holes. Tears off like thick dough and pushes into gaps and holes.

Got it as a putty backstop for my pellet trap for my pellet pistol and rifle. Don't forget to pick out the pellets ;-)

Very handy product. This 5-pound size is great value.
