Working like it said it would
I have a 2nd server room in another building and this makes it very convenient not having to go check the temperature / humidity. To be fair, I have no other thermometer to verify the accuracy. Email alerts work if it goes over my set threshold and I can access it via the Internet or local LAN. No complaints.

Hot to the touch!
Just received one this morning to test in our server rooms at work. normal temps in server room are between 55 and 62 degrees F. Internal thermometer reads 59 while the monitor is reading 87. Went to move the device to a separate location and realized the monitor was very hot to the touch. Will be returning the device immediately.

I want to love it, but...
Wow! These are really pricey. They are interesting and have potential, but I need to monitor too many locations. It isn't a direct substitute, but if Sensor-Push will fit your requirements it is less than 1/3 the cost and they are high quality. Again, it is a different approach, but there is some overlap. So for now, these are nice to know about for some applications, but unless they drop the price they will not be a goto solution for me.

Watch out for plan changes..
We have a client that purchased two of these devices and until fairly recently they were both working fine. I got an alert today of temperature high and went to check to see if it was still high or had gone back down yet. When I logged in I was presented with a banner: The capacity on your Room Alert Account has been exceeded and access to some devices has been suspended. You will not be able view data, or receive alerts that are attached to suspended devices. To restore access, upgrade your Room Alert Account to add more device capacity. The free "Base Account" only supports 1 device, 1 alert at a time, 1 report, and 1 day of history. The "Personal account" for 150 per year gets you 10 devices, 10 alerts at a time, 3 reports, and 30 days history. When these were purchased, they were an expensive device that did what we needed. As they are now, unless you want to pay the subscription or only have one and just want emails when stuff changes, the basic license isn't much better than useless.

Needed updates to function in https mode.
Expensive for a simple temperature monitor to monitor equipment closets but not much in the way of competitors in 2024 so very few options for enterprise level monitoring. Did not work properly out of box until updates were applied so run http only until you’ve applied the updates. MIB not compatible with OpManager.

Works great with Zabbix
I have four of these in different network cabinets around out site for monitoring temperatures. Devices work great with Zabbix and SNMP polling. SMTP alarms work great as well if you want to use those.

Looks like there is no quality control before sending out these units to customers?! Out of box it tells me the temp is about 3-5C and if there is no airflow, the unit heats up to about 19-20c
