So after a lot of research I finally bought the Mi 360° Home Security Camera 2K Pro for about 4.5K. I have to say that I'm very satisfied using this camera for about 15-20 days now. Some of the pros and cons that I experienced are listed below- Pros: 1. Set up is very user friendly and neat using the MI Home app 2. Tilt and Pan is quite a nice feature and works perfectly 3. This one supports 5 GHZ WIFI so we get a good upload speed too. 4. Night vision is good and there is an option for Full color images in low light which is quite amazing. 5. I put in a 64 gb card and it fills up after 8-10 days of continuous recording. The camera automatically deletes the oldest recordings. 6. In case wifi is disconnected, as long as power supply is on, the camera will record everything which we can later on view once the wifi is restored. 7. The app is very well designed and easy to view if we have multiple cameras. 8. The mic is exceptionally sensitive and picks up all the sounds including people talking. 9. The speaker is sufficiently loud. Cons- 1. Motion sensor and person detection feature requires some fine tuning. 2. If wifi is down, then no way to operate the camera or view recordings. 3. No cloud upload feature although NAS network storage is an option.

Pros 1> Camera quality is gr8. 2> Economical easy to install and lasting. 3> Gr8 human detection avoids false notification - unlike motion sensing. 4> Timely alerts Cons 1> Cloud storage as advertised in India - either does not exist or impossible to install. 2> Only recognise windows file share server not any other NAS. 3> Almost impossible to save data in safe place so if intruder takes the camera - everything is lost. 4> Google assistant worked for few days, then stoped, either Indian Govt restricted or the updates. Conclusion Useful as child monitor or Senior citizen monitor but practically useless as a security system as data is stored on the camera which is prone to be carried away by the intruder.

Here are somethings which will help you make a decision: 1) the setup is extremely smooth and easy. An electrician was needed to hang the device on the ceiling 2) its ideally a device suitable for in-house usage but i have used it for my balcony. If the area is protected from direct sunlight and rain it should work fine 3) power back may be required as the device runs on direct power source. I have used a power bank as a stop gap arrangement 4) Image quality is good and some features like human movement tracking works really well 5) I have used a 32 GB SD card which stores close to 5 days of footage. I think this can be further increased by reducing video quality Hope this helps

Very Clear picture, very useful for security purpose or to watch your pets when you are not at home. Good quality, clear picture, recording facility is also available as it support 32 GB SD card. Value for money.

If you are considering this camera , please read below feedback all the way .. It worked great for 10 months and horizontal motor stopped working for no reason .. I have battery UPS power supply and in air conditioner room so dust free environment.. If it can’t work in safest possible environment for 10 months, product obviously is not recommended for anyone.. waste of money Btw reason I wrote this review because this is second exact same camera stopped working and warranty is declined as its only for 6 months..

First, no free cloud storage in India. Only 32GB card (max) is compatible for storage, 64GB card won't work. Second, motion detection is too sensitive and no option for only detecting movements of people. There is a low and high sensitivity settings, honestly I didn't see any difference between two. Third, automatically detecting and tracking algorithm for any human subject entering the frame is absolutely poor. It fails to track if we move at normal speed or come close to camera. Camera can only tracks if we walk in slow motion, unrealistic. Fourth, following a power cut, camera will go into lens hiding option unless we reorient the lens back into position. UPS connection is must for this device. Video quality, remote access, 2 way talking facility are good. Need a lot of improvements in the software.

Pros: 1.The camera comes with a 360 degree view. 2.Supports remote monitoring. 3.Allows two way speech. 4. Consumption of internet bandwith isn't that high. 5. daytime video quality is great. Night mode is ok though. 6. Audio is also pretty clear Cons. 1. Initial configuration is a bit complicated. The manual could have been a little more elaborate. 2. Requires running power supply. Should have supported atleast batteries. 3. Each time to configure the camera afresh, ask for resetting the camera. 4. The device comes with a manual having QR code for mapping the camera to the app.QR code dependency is high as the app takes a lot of time to detect the camera.
