Marvel Legends Series Spider-Man 6-inch Hobgoblin Action Figure Toy, Toy Biz Inspired Design, Includes 3 Accessories: Glider, Pumpkin Bomb, Satchel

I started reading the Amazing Spider-Man around the time the Hobgoblin was introduced and he immediately became one of my favorite Spidey villains. There was something darker about the way he went about committing his crimes and his stories tended to reflect that darkness. The 5-part "Gang War" storyline and the classic Spider-Man vs. Wolverine one-shot cemented him as one of my all-time favorites. The figure reflects all of that menace and the retro packaging immediately brings to mind the books I read as a kid. Being a collector, I will not take him out of the box, but the accessories that come with the figure will easily make it a nice display piece should you choose to remove him from the packaging. If you're a fan of this character and don't want to spent $150+ for a statue of Hobgoblin, this is a wonderful, affordable alternative. You can't go wrong with this figure and I give it the highest recommendation.

Good figure

Man this figure is like the 90s cartoons, great articulations, great painted and accessories. The only thing is the cape, is not accurate like the cartoons, but is fine. Love it! Now to find the black suit Spider-Man

Love it a huge fan of Spider-Man the animated series

So this Retro Hobgoblin isn't what it claims to be. It shares the same head sculpt as the previous Hobgoblin which is not based off the animated series. In the series he doesn't have a tattered cape but the previous Hobgoblin did so we get it again here. Hasbro really just Frankenstein'd a couple of existing figures and gave it an animated series inspired paint job. His feet don't fit in the glider because the glider was designed to be held on by curved toed boots as found on previous goblin figures. With the negatives out of the way I still gave this figure 4 stars because it is easy to look over some of these gripes. The paint job does pop on a shelf and if you want to go for the animated series vibe this works. The retro card looks good and has nice retro art on it. The cardstock is strong and should hold up. This is not the best Hobgoblin figure made. That being said it still is a pretty nice figure in it's own ways.

I bought three of these and every one broke in the same place! The second joint of the arm! Save your money don’t buy this!

My son is 14 and has been making anima movies with action figures. Some are pretty pricy! This was a great addition to his collection and didn’t break the bank.

As a collector i look at every detail .Very good no damage no qc issues pait looks good !
