I recently taught myself to sew so I don’t have any experience with most tools and brands, so I can’t really compare these to anything else. That being said I love these clips! They’re much easier for me to use than pins, though the clips can’t replace pins completely. The force required to open the clips vary from clip to clip but it’s always a reasonable amount. I’ve used all the clips at once (I’m sewing masks in bulk) and encountered only 1 defective clip. The little container is compact at 3 3/8” (85mm) tall and fits conveniently in the top drawer of the IKEA drawer unit I use for sewing supply storage. I think these are super useful and a great value. I’m back to buy more of these in fact!

Even better than expected

I always use these sewing clips instead of pins to hold fabric together. Pins leave holes, and I always end up sticking myself. These clips are easy to clip on, and to take off when you’re sewing. Holds fabric together nicely without slipping. These are very durable and I have not experienced them losing their grip. I am ordering a refill, as I am planning a larger project and needing more than what I have.

I prefer to use these clips over pins for my sewing projects. They are easy to use, easy to remove as I'm sewing on my machine, they hold well, but a little small. A few have broken but they come with so many pieces it's not a deal breaker. They work best with lighter weight fabric. They don't leave clip mark creases in the fabric.

These are great. Cute and colorful clips. They hold well and do what they are supposed to do.
