great for every guinea pig owner
My guinea pigs had a lack of vitamin c because they dont really like eating oranges or anything that contains citrus from experience. With that being said I notice it started to make them have some dandruff. I bought them cause i read that it helps with that and just to drop some in their water. They dont taste it and seem to enjoy the water because they still drink it. I would recommend for any owner just to help pro-long their lives and make them healthy :) !

My Guinea Pig Favorite Drink :)
Lil’ Guinea pig loves it, and goes thru it pretty quick. I feel like it should bring more for the price to be honest specially with how fast this goes and my little don’t work. The quality is basically the same across the board, never seen the package leak or with less/more than previously purchased. Same as you’re your going to get from any pet store, sometimes lower in price than in-store.

Runny nose GONE
I don’t put this in his water, they need the water to be fresh. Instead, I put 2 drops directly in his mouth, followed by a small slice of grape. After a few times of this, he got the idea and will now try to put his mouth on the bottle as you get it ready! So even if they don’t like at first, follow with a small bite of a favorite sweet thing like a grape or pineapple - just not too much, they can become diabetic, it’s only for the taste and a reward. Now, he takes the drops without the grape and seems to enjoy them. I tasted them. They taste like a chewable vitamin C we give kids. Absorption will be aided if you feed a piece of fruit or vegetable immediately after the drops. I do a slice of grape as mentioned, followed by a bunch of cilantro. (Or whatever they enjoy.) My guinea had a very light sniffle on and off. He gets a lot of healthy produce, but doesn’t like bell peppers, and oranges have too much sugar. Now that he gets 2 drops of this a day, it has stopped and hasn’t come back. I don’t believe the claims that this is fake or different. It’s just a different batch, and it needs to be shaken before use. These stay fresh in the bottle, but begin to break down when put in water and will be ineffective after 24 hours. This is why it should be dropped into the mouth or placed on a treat to be eaten immediately. The proof is in their health. Sniffles are gone now and haven’t returned. I will continue to use this and would recommend it to anyone. He’s already on food with stabilized vitamin C plus fresh produce, and this still made a huge difference.

Great short term alternative.
If you can't get your guinea pig to eat the Oxbow Vitamin C wafers even after breaking them up into pieces, add this directly to their veggies. They like it and it gets them the much needed Vitamin C they need to stay healthy. Don't add it to their water. It dilutes it too much and will be gone before they actually drink it. Just add some drops directly to their veggies daily.

Same amount of Vitamin C as the multi vitamin
It may taste different to the piggies but it has the exact same amount of vitamin C as the multi vitamin formula which usually sells for way less on Amazon. I've used both and my pigs dont seem to care but the multi does have a stronger smell (like vitamin B) and it has a deep yellow color, unlike the straight C liquid. I usually use at half the reccomended dosage or less so the pigs don't avoid the water. You can also try 2 water bottles, 1 with & 1 without suppliments if you're worried about dehydration because the pigs might not like the taste of suppliment as some others have mentioned. We had a sick pig, thought she was going to die but the vitamins seemed to help.

10 drops goes a long way !
My daughter's guinea pig Guinea caught RSV from my cousin's baby . I was on edge for a week I was so scared she was going to die. Guinea went from weeking everytime she heard a bag rattle and constantly in the food bowl. Drinking water like a diabetic and having us clean her cage every week she was just stanky. She completely stopped eating, drinking ,peeing and pooping she stopped weeking and her eyes were crusty she just laid there her balance was off and she couldn't walk and the poop that did come out was black and tear drop shaped a crusty. I googled her symptoms on watch videos on YouTube and came straight to Amazon . The reviews gave me hope and I ordered this vita drops care amongst other items like new water bottle, critical care and orchard hay . I made it and force fed her to drink it and within two days she started back eating her soft vegetables again and by the 3rd day she was eating hard foods again but not her hay she's drinking water again and back to begging . So I would definitely say this works and is worth the purchase. I'm still putting the vita C drops in her water bottle until she's completely back to normal

The bottle arrived in its original cardboard plastic packaging. It matches the photo exactly as advertised. In the past, I found that with this brand of vita drops, it used to clump overtime around the nozzle however this one came without any clumps or residue which is great. Would recommend to guinea pig owners who need vitamin c for their piggie, its easy to use. Just make sure to follow the instructions at the back since a lot of owners would overdose their piggies water with vitamin C.
