They really are the best You can use these in a variety of products that need size D batteries. We use them in our Maglite torch, which requires all 6 D batteries I have tried the cheap batteries before and it just eats them, whereas these Duracell ones just keep on going. So, these are great value. The cheaper ones are just a false economy I do remove the batteries when not in use. No wonder they boast a 10 year storage!
