It's a TIGHT fit but works
Relatively inexpensive. It's a pain in the neck to install by yourself and it just *barely* fits inside the fan housing. The receiver is rectangular and NO fan housing that I've ever seen is rectangular. These need to be manufactured with a semi-circular board and case. Replacing the batteries in the remote is also annoying. When batteries die, you can't just pop in fresh batteries. You have to remove the old batteries, press the buttons a few times and hope residual power is used up. Then wait a little while longer before putting in new batteries. Something I really don't like: When power goes out (e.g., during a storm or other unplanned power failure) and then comes back on, the light turns on automatically. This is NOT good because I use these on a house that is not occupied all the time. It's not feasible to turn breakers off to prevent this. Overall, it's decent and works okay, with the exceptions noted above. Would I buy again? Maybe.

It works
Easy to install. Small enough to hide under the fan ceiling cap housing. Good range on the remote. If you have one wire to a light and want to switch to a fan + light without re-wiring this is the answer. The fan and light work separately from the remote. I have had one of these units on a porch fan for 5 years. Still works like new. I bought 2 more for inside ceiling fans and I love them.

It works.
My ceiling fan remote was no longer working. I tried to buy a replacement remote but could not find one that would work with my fan. I bought this kit. I was able to install it and have the fan working in thirty minutes.

Excellent besides the beeping
These are fantastic electrically. After I put them up I discover they beep loudly to acknowledge every command (including adjusting fan speeds). Fortunately I installed these in rooms where people are not sleeping. I didn’t see any switch or instruction to turn this off, and it’s not worth the effort to hunt for it now.

compact size
I have these remotes in 5 ceiling fans throught out two properties. they work well and the main reason I buy then is because their size. If you know how to install them they will fit inside the junction box. low or regular profile box.

Instructions are clear and easy to follow. One of the 2 kits weren’t working, got in touch with the seller and they were more than happy to send a replacement. My son is so happy that he can control his ceiling fan with a touch of a button. 10/10 would recommend!
