KitchenAid KSMTHPS Secure Fit Pouring Shield, Fits select Stainless Bowls

This piece is such a blessing! I’ve been wanting one for a long time, and it’s even better than I expected. It’s also better than the one my mom has that came with hers. The durable clips attach securely to the bowl, keeping it from moving, and the wide spout makes it easy to use with any ingredient. The thick plastic feels sturdy, and it cleans up beautifully and effortlessly. I honestly don’t know how I lived without it! Next up: the pasta attachment 👩‍🍳🥰

This mixing bowl cover is amazing! Ish I would’ve found it years ago! Even my wife is excited for her cookie baking knowing how much less of a mess this will make! This pouring shield does exactly what I wanted it to do — help keep ingredients from flying everywhere while mixing. It helped reduce the mess and made adding ingredients a little easier. The appearance matched the pictures, and the quality feels good overall. I also think it’s a good value for the money, especially if you use your mixer regularly. My only minor issue was the fit. I have a KitchenAid mixer with a bowl that has a handle, so the shield fit a little more snugly than I expected and took some adjusting to get into place. That said, once I got it on, it still did the job well. Overall, a useful accessory for KitchenAid owners, especially if you’re tired of flour and other ingredients all over the counter.

My first stand mixer came with the pouring shield but it did not have the secure fit feature. I sold that entire unit and my new mixer did not come with the shield so I had to buy it. This one is way better because it stays put. Can’t wait to try it out.

I purchased 5 different pouring spouts, and based on fit and features (not use) this ranked the best. Pro: It securely fits on 4.5 qt and does not move at all around the rim.
