Perfect replacement for my exhaust hood
For perfectly in my Broan exhaust hood. Took four minutes to install because I needed to find a zip tie to secure the wire so the fan didn’t hit it. Fit was exact. So much quieter than the original. It’s not silent but we can talk without screaming. Perfect and great value for the money.

Wrong way
The product was recommended by the company that manufactures the range hood. Unfortunately, the fan blows in the wrong direction. If you want your kitchen filled with smoke, buy this product. My brother-in-law is a fabulous handyman, and he was able to magically remanufacture the fan so it would operate properly and still becable to screw it in the range hood.

Compré este motor para el ventilador del extractor de la cocina y ha superado mis expectativas. La instalación fue bastante sencilla y encajó perfectamente sin necesidad de hacer modificaciones. Desde que lo instalé, el extractor funciona mucho mejor: tiene buena potencia, elimina el humo y los olores rápidamente, y además es mucho más silencioso que el anterior. Se nota que es un producto de buena calidad y resistente. Después de varios usos, sigue funcionando como el primer día. Sin duda, es una excelente opción si necesitas reemplazar el motor del extractor y quieres algo duradero y eficiente. Lo recomiendo.

Just what I needed

One speed created smoke, other speed wouldn’t work at all
Installed product, one fan speed would barely turn the fan and the other speed got some good rpm out of it, but also a LOT of smoke and burning electrical from the fan motor. The motor was too hot to touch after 3 seconds. The windings are shorted internally, the product has been misbuilt. Unfortunate as I spent time to find and buy the more expensive, better reviewed product.
