Rise Gardens Personal Rise Garden Hydroponic Indoor Garden Kit with LED Grow Light, Countertop Size

I absolutely love my rise garden! I got it about a month ago but wanted to wait to post my review until my seeds blossomed and they are finally doing so beautifully! I’m not much of a gardener but loved the idea of being able to grow my own greens to use for salads, tea, etc. I was definitely looking for something that was beginner-friendly and this garden is exactly what I needed. The app experience is amazing — it reminds me when I need to add water and nutrients, and clean / replace the water. I’m not sure my lettuce or sage would be doing so well if it wasn’t for the help of the app 😅 It’s definitely been a learning experience as well and I can’t wait to plant more veggies and make some yummy dishes !!! Would also like to note that the instructions for everything are very clear and helpful — from setting up my garden and the app to adding water and nutrients. If you’re thinking of getting this I would say DO IT! This personal garden also makes for a great holiday gift — I for one would be absolutely thrilled if I got one of these 😍

I just got my personal Rise garden a little over a week ago and I already have sprouting herbs! I've been wanting a way to grow a small amount of herbs and veggies since I live in an apartment but have been hesitant since I'm not very good with plants. I liked that the Rise garden was compact, super easy to assemble, didn't have any unnecessary parts and was easy with the instructions to get set up on the app. It took me a couple of tries to get the garden to connect to wifi but following the instructions on the app I turned off the cellular data temporarily and it worked fine. I appreciate that the app reminds me when my plants need water as I've always had a hard time figuring that out myself with houseplants. I also don't get a lot of direct sunlight in my apartment so it's helpful that it comes with lighting and an automatic timer, it's all very much set and forget. They even include pH testing strips so that you can test your water and adjust nutrients accordingly, which I would never have thought of. Overall very happy with my purchase and very excited to see my sprouts grow to maturity and be able to cook with fresh herbs!

Did not grow plants well. Also I placed an order and did not recieve my full order and cannot view orders on the app and the contact info is not available it shows a 404 page not found. Also app does not work well at all. I also have 2 Gardyns and have not had problems like this. I'm wondering if they are still in business??? What a waste of money! It deserves 0 stars.

My rise garden was so easy to set up and it fits perfectly in my kitchen! I garden outdoors spring through fall but can’t do much in the winter due to Chicago’s cold weather. I can’t wait to have readily accessible veggies and herbs grown right in my kitchen year round! I have to say the best part of the product is the app integration. It tells me when I need to add nutrients or when I need to clean the garden. Very helpful for someone who is busy and often forgets to take care of her plants :) You can also control the system’s light (both brightness and timer). Overall I’m very happy with my purchase and can’t wait to have fresh herbs to use when I cook my Thanksgiving turkey.

I loved this garden initially as I have been a long fan of Aerogarden but it has it's limitations so I bought the two tier garden and loved the products it produced primarily lettace and herbs but I struggled with black mold in the tub and outside the main water tub and I believe this is likely due to the nutrients. If one of the hose connectors failed the whole thing was a disater as the tub would over fill with the water or the top tier dies of not getting water and nutrients. I went through several cycles includeing buying my own connectors and plastic tubing as well extra pumps until I came home one day and I had water all over my floor. I tried to file a review on the Rise website and you CAN'T so they are cherry picking reviews. I would pick Aerogarden over his garden any day (XL farm). Cleaning this garden is also a nightmare all the more I threw the hoses out and replaced with new ones NOT from Rise Garden. Customer service is not great - I love the seedlings and can use with aerogarden but don't recommend the nutrients due to the black mold issue. The app is also lame... after a few cycles I didn't need to use the app to figure out what nutrients the garden needed.

Assembly went well. The instructions were easy to follow. The barcode unfortunately refused to scan. After a few hours of troubleshooting we finally managed to get it connected to the app. Left the lights running overnight with the seedlings and woke up to a completely unresponsive garden. The lights don't turn on, no wireless or Bluetooth signal. Just a blue light on the power adapter and a red light on the main board. We reached out to support and they sent a replacement. The replacement unit it working well so far.

I purchased the Personal Rise Garden during the Black Friday sale to finally kick of my Indoor-Gardening project. The design and quality of the garden is amazing, the seeds seem high quality and started growing super fast ~ I have 0 prior experience so it was a great feeling to see that I can immediately start growing. I had a couple of issues and got in touch with their Customer Service. I was assisted by Anavel and it was one of the best experience I had when reaching out to a brand. She was incredibily kind, super fast and helped me with all my problems ~ Rarely write reviews but was so happy that I wanted to share my experience!

The perfect way to bring your gardening inside for winter - and have fresh herbs and even vegetables ! Nothing like harvesting fresh kale. The personal garden size works great, is easy to use, and looks good too. No mess, and the app makes it easy to figure out when to add nutrients. Will be buying two more for Christmas gifts.
