I want to put paper on the wall for the kids to paint. Is this paper thick enough to prevent leaking through to the wall?

How are you mounting it to the wall? I'm looking for a giant paper towel looking dispenser but can't find one. Can you share your materials? Thanks

Is this paper thick enough for kids to draw on w/crayons?

Yes. I bought this for gift wrapping and crafts with my 2 year old. She draws on it with crayons and pens and she also paints on it. It's wonderful. We've framed some of her "art" on this paper and it looks great.

Can this be used as a frame backing?

YES! it is perfect for framing not too thick not too thin. I have had a bad experience with another company that the paper was too thin.

Could I use this to cover picnic tables for a birthday party?

As long as it's not raining, but you may need to anchor or tape it down. I used it for a thanksgiving table cover, indoors, and used crayons an a markers to make a holiday design on it. Also put crayons on the table for guests to draw or write on it.
