Part Failed After 10 Days
Journeyman electrician by trade Our little Hotpoint chest freezer just stopped working (the refrigerant compressor would not start) and was unusually warm because the start/run relay was defective causing the thermo protector to trip out thus saving the compressor from damage I did watch a very good video on YouTube to confirm what I suspected Did a quick search on Amazon and found the exact part I needed and ordered 2 just in case for next time hopefully years down the road. This part actually fits multiple brands. Like the video recommends & so do I take a picture of what terminals the wires are connected to. Very easy 5 minute install and our freezer now works like a champ again

A very good buy
Garage frezzer stopped working and this was the fix. Exact replacement no issues at all. Came in time expected, no complaints. Saved repair tech costs. If this is same as original I expect this to last another eight years. A very good buy.

Getting the job done. Freezer stopped working, found out on YouTube most likely one of two issues...this was it..easy install..Just remember which wires go where. Been in for six months now..worked all summer in garage.

Price is good but only lasted 18 months. Buy a spare.
The OEM lasted about 24 months and this replacement lasted about 18 months. Just plan to change yearly to avoid food loss.
