Keeps my transmission very cool. On a 65 degree morning it runs at ~106 and during the day around 85 degrees it runs from ~120 ~135. Haven’t towed yet but I’d imagine it would stay cooler than factory. Easily mounts in factory location with accompanying mounting hardware (will not use factory mounting holes, you will have to remove factory cooler bracket and drill new mounting holes). Good quality especially for the price point. Would definitely recommend.

I added this cooler to my truck because I started towing a 27-foot trailer and wanted a little extra peace of mind with the transmission temperatures. The kit came with everything I needed, and the cooler itself feels sturdy with a good amount of weight to it. Installation took some time, but nothing about it felt complicated. Once it was mounted and the lines were routed, it sat firmly in place without any rattling or movement. The difference was noticeable on my first tow. The temperatures stayed steadier, especially on long grades where they usually climbed higher. It made the truck feel more prepared for the extra load, and I didn’t have to worry as much about overheating during long drives. If you’re towing anything heavy and want to give your transmission a little more breathing room, this cooler does the job well without making things overly complicated.

Hose failed after a month. Ruptured and left me on the side of the road with transmission slipping. Hose must have been defective or just low quality. Otherwise the cooler did its job.

Good quality and wide range of fittings for installation

Completely bypassed radiator and ran straight to this cooler on my 5.3 swapped 94 Blazer. Dropped my operating temp 50°F and I have a 6.5” lift and 37s. Supplied hose seems fine, was just long enough, would’ve been nice to have an extra ft or 2. Wish it used a more standard fitting type. It looks like it uses a 3/8 inverted flare, which in my area and online is hard to find, especially when trying to use my 6an lines. Wasn’t hard to install. No leaks as of right now, looks good and blends in in my case.

Quality looks good and comes with everything needed to install. Hardest part to installation is finding where to put it. Only had on for a few days now. No leaks so far.

great product for the price brought my 6l80e temp in my 2010 Tahoe LTZ on 35” tires down over 50 degrees. was running 207 now won’t run over 151 degrees. i would go to auto parts store and get some better hose because the hose they send with the cooler is extremely thin.

Transmission was overheating at 190 to 212F. Just put the cooler and highest temp was 162F. So transmission works like new! Fits very tight, but it does.
