Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream Jar (Single)

I love YUBE products and this one is no exception. I love that it comes in a large tub. I love that original scent, which is quite medicinal at first, but after 6 seconds it disappears and it just leaves your skin softer and smoother. I love that it is quite thick, but it isn’t greasy or oily. The best part is that a little bit will go a long way. You don’t need to reapply quite as often due to the viscous thickness of the cream. As an acupuncturist, we wash our hands about 3 or 4 times for every patient that we see. So that’s a lot of potential dryness that can happen and at least for me it really drys out my cuticles which then leads to those painful hangnails. Since using this formula (actually at work I use the pump version it’s more convenient and easy to apply) it has kept my hands softer and more moisturized. Thanks YUBE for making such an amazing product. And lastly I love that it is made in Japan, which for me is still a sign that it is a quality product that is not harmful to the environment. Only wish they would make them in even bigger, larger sizes.

It took me a solid decade of developing terribly dry, scaly, cracked-to-the-point-of-bleeding skin on my hands every winter before I learned that it's not just dry skin but eczema. Fortunately, my partner had suggestions for helpful treatments, as he semi-regularly deals with weeping eczema. Unfortunately, in addition to the dryness, I suffer skin allergies which mean that I react severely to most every eczema cream and lotion out there. Using a thick layer of shea butter overnight helped but it didn't penetrate the crusty outer layer enough to protect my hands througout the day, and by bedtime, they would be chapped and bleeding again. It was visibly very, VERY bad. If you're thinking to yourself "Gosh, that sounds unbearable"... yes! Yes it is! I was hyper aware of the stinging, ripping sensations in my hands every time I moved and the skin pulled, every time I washed them and rubbed over all the little micro-tears, and every time anything mildly acidic, spicy, etc. came into contact with my hands and it felt like being splashed with acid. I could not take it any more. With some trepidation, I stumbled onto this product in my search for vegan sensitive skin eczema remedies and it has tremendously helped me. I will say I have never felt a lotion quite so emollient, as this one immediately feels much more moisturizing than your average hand cream. It absorbs well into the skin and isn't too heavy, sticky, or greasy. The odor is similarly non-offensive, with a mild herbal aroma that I barely notice. My only real gripe with this is the price! You get so little for a pretty high price tag, and it goes fast. I do appreciate that the company included tiny samples of some of their other products in the box with my purchase: that was kind! At the end of the day, though, it's hard to put a budget on the relief I felt after the first night using this lotion alongside my shea butter (which works a little better as a physical barrier covering the skin cracks, if you already have them) under a pair of fingerless cotton gloves which help to minimize lotion mess on my bedclothes as well as to retain moisture. I will admit this did sting a bit when I first rubbed it into my severely damaged skin, but I did not have an allergic reaction and the pain was much less than other products. I experience no negative reaction at all now that my skin has healed. I wish I had taken before and after pictures but, quite frankly, the before might have been too gory to post. Suffice it to say this product worked for me better than anything else I'd tried, even the products (shea butter) that did somewhat help. I still think I needed the shea and gloves to achieve this effect so I would recommend those for anyone with dryness as intense as mine. I might not be able to make this my regular lotion year round due to how expensive it is, but I will certainly place another order when the temperatures start to drop next year!

Every winter my hands end up dry, cracked and, at some point, bleeding. It's just an unfortunate inevitability. No matter how much heavy cream, vitamin E oil or even Neosporin I used, nothing kept my hands soft and well-moisturized during the coldest months of the year... until I discovered Yu-Be! After doing extensive research on the best creams for cracked skin, my mother-in-law bought me a tube of Yu-Be for Christmas. She purchased a couple other brands of heavy creams, too, in hopes that one or all would heal my poor hands. I wasn't terribly satisfied with the other creams, but the tube of Yu-Be was the best gift anyone's given me in a long time! A few days of use, and my hands felt wonderful. After a week, they were in better shape than they are even in summer months. I loved it so much that I purchased a tube for my purse and a jar for home from Amazon just before I finished off the tube I received as a gift. The price per ounce is better when you buy the jar, but the tube is convenient. Whichever you choose, this product is well worth the money! A little bit goes a long way in repairing frazzled skin, meaning a small tube lasts a long time and makes this product an even better buy. When you first apply Yu-Be, it feels a little greasy, but it absorbs in a matter of minutes, leaving skin soft and silky feeling. I try to apply it just to the backs of my hands, since my palms are usually fine; I then rub the backs of my hands together to spread it around, sometimes put the excess on my elbows, rub my hands together to thoroughly work it in the rest of the way, and then wipe my palms so I don't spread the cream onto anything I might touch before it's fully absorbed. For a deep-conditioning overnight treatment, I wet my hands, apply the cream liberally, then put on a pair of stretchy knit gloves that I keep in my bedroom for this purpose (as well as for putting on stockings without snagging them!) and keep them on overnight. The next morning, my hands feel as good as they would after a week of normal daily applications. I highly recommend this product to anyone battling rough, dry and/or cracked skin!

The best, most healing hand cream. I can’t get through winter without it. Starting early this year.

I love this skin cream. I have used it for years; however, this is the first time I got it in a jar. It's a little thicker than the pump, but just effective.

This cream is amazing. Fast absorbing. Nourishing. I put it everywhere. Hands, face, body, blemishes, dry patches, it even healed a spot of my boyfriend’s eczema. Totally worth the price tag. I don’t know what they put in here but it works on every skin malady I’ve put it on.

I LOVE this lotion. It's about the only brand that makes my dry winter feet feel soft. There is no real scent which is fine for me. Though a little goes a long way, it is still to expensive to buy often which makes me sad because if it was affordable, I would never be without it.

Love this product. Saw improvement night after first use. Great results softening my hands after 3 evenings. What worked for me was to first wash hands with soap and water, dry hands, then apply the creme immediately after, and wear cotton "lotion gloves" to bed. There is a slight menthol scent at first, but it gradually dissipates, so I used regular lotion during daytime hours. Please remember that NOT drinking sufficient amounts of water and consuming TOO MUCH SUGAR may also contribute to dry skin.

Si vous avez en hiver des lèvres super abimés franchement cette crème et magique. Je recommande, moi j’ai carrément des crevasse et en 1 journée c’est déjà bien hydtater. En mettre un tout tout petit peu cela suffit.

Ich nutze die Yube-Creme seit Jahren (hat mir mal ein netter Verkäufer bei Sephora in den USA empfohlen). Sie zieht sehr schnell ein, so dass ich unmittelbar nach dem Eincremen an der Tastatur weiterarbeiten kann und wirkt wahr Wunder auf meiner trockenen Haut. Leider gibt's die Creme in Deutschland nirgendwo zu kaufen - aber Dank Amazon läßt sie sich aus England bestellen (übrigens zum gleichen Preis, wie man sie in den USA kauft -> zumindest beim aktuellen Dollar-Kurs von praktisch 1:1 ggü dem Euro). Unabhängig davon verwenden mittlerweile sehr viele meiner Freunde und Verwandten die Creme, nachdem sie sie bei mir ausprobiert hatten ;)

Only took about a week to a week and a half to arrive which was a much shorter time frame than I anticipated. I love Yu-be be. It's great for dry, mangled cuticles and rough patches of skin. I really like that it's none greasy & absorbs quickly. It does smell like camphor when you first put it on but it dissipates quickly. As someone who is sensitive to most scents this is a huge plus! I lean on my hands a lot so when I can have my hand near my face & not smell like anything, it's great! It's very soothing & a little goes a long way. Love Yu-be cream!

This feels instantly creamy but dissolves into a nice non-greasy moisturiser. Little goes a long way. I use it on my cuticles, lips and dry patches on my neck and face. It has transformed my skincare in a way no other, expensive, product has been able to. The tube itself is easy to squeeze, it does not lose its shape even when becoming empty. All-round winner.

Ideal para pieles secas. Se absorbe rápidamente sin dejar sensación grasa. El acabado proporciona un healthy glow, dando a la piel un aspecto jugoso, hidratado y muy saludable. Uno de los ingredientes de la crema es camphor, lo cual le proporciona un olor característico que desaparece completamente a los pocos minutos de su aplicación. Por lo demás lleva glicerina, vitaminas C, E y B2. Muy recomendable.
