**Q: Will it remove old decals, i want to use it on a blonde 50's seeburg home library 45 rpm player with decals volume, bass, etc....   i must save....**
A: I don't think it will remove the decals.  I used it on floors and furniture. I used the neutral color.  It just covered scratches and added a bit of luster. You should be ok.

**Q: Is this stain oil or water based?**
A: Restor-A-Finish is an oil-based wood finish restorer. Restor-A-Finish penetrates faded lacquer, shellac, and varnish finishes to bring back the original color and luster. It restores the depth of grain, going much deeper than temporary “scratch cover” products. Restor-A-Finish penetrates and permanently restores most wood finishes without removing any of the existing finish.

**Q: How does the stain behave with high humidity during application? Winters here are notoriously wet, and I'm concerned about how it'll affect the finis.**
A: High humidity always affects things. It could slow absorption into the wood and slow drying time. As this is a cleaning and staining product the finish should not be affected.  The finishing was you use gives you your final finish.
