Q: Can it also test deep cycle battery or house battery on a boat?

User Manual says it test all lead acid batteries, including AGM, Gel and EFB.

Q: Does it work with 12v ups battery with 125AH @ 20 Hr?

There are different ways to measure and there is no limit of 30aH or above I've seen. You do not have to put in cold cranking amps and unless you are testing the battery at zero degrees for 30 seconds and maintaining at least 7.2v, how do you think using CCA spec for a new battery is going to inform you? For a battery backup battery such as the typical 12v, 9ah battery, you will need to look up the battery's spec sheet for max short duration current (peak amps) for your value for cranking amps (even though you are not using nor need a high value as you aren't using battery backup batteries or deep cycle batteries as a starter battery). Choose Out of Vehicle, AGM flat plate (most common battery backup battery), and CA (cranking amps). I don't really care whether it is charged up when evaluating a battery backup battery but I do care about how much internal resistance has built up over factory spec. Higher resistance, less life left. Hope that helps with some of the confusion. Can't really go into internal resistance here.
