These charge even if it’s overcast. The screenshot was on the day of the big blizzard prediction 2-22-2026 and you can see it was very overcast and was still charging. Saves me from getting on ladder and swapping batteries out.

bought this product in June 2023, its now September 2023 and the product stopped working. From June til now this product was A++++ never had issue, very easy to install and keep my Arlo camera charged. After 2 months now it stopped charging my camera and now i am pass my return/replace window. If there is anything that can be done about replacing the product would be great. Overall the product was great.

Per the instructions, I connected the solar panel to the camera with a fully charged battery installed. The real test came with the remnants of Hurrican Ian. In Virginia, we had six consecutive days of 100% overcast conditions with rain. On average, the camera turned on 4-5 times per day including at least once every night that turned on the light. With no sun to charge the battery, after six days, the battery was at 81%. When the sun returned, by the end of the day, the battery was once again at 100%. I would recommend this solar panel that will now save me from climbing a ladder and swapping the battery every 2-3 months. I'll probably buy a couple more for the other cameras that have a southern exposure.

We use Arlo Floodlights to monitor our cabin and RV site. Although there is electricity at both locations, permanent power connections are inconvenient and unsightly. This solar panel keeps both cameras running seamlessly, as long as there is adequate sunlight every few days. The one at my cabin has been keeping the floodlight alive for over 3 years with zero maintenance. I do feel the power depletes more quickly than I'd expect during stretches when the sun isn't out so much, but neither has let my cameras fully die to date. My only real complaint might be the connection between the panel and the camera is delicate and should be enhanced. My 2nd panel had to be returned and replaced as the tiny connector wires were damaged. Overall, if you're looking to charge an Arlo camera for free, and eliminate long stretches of power cords, this works great.

Failed after 6 months on a Go with minimal usage. Never quite kept up either, battery never got a full charge all summer and slowly dwindled to nothing.

Replacements for a couple of chargers that a hail storm took out. Easy to install, quality product from Arlo. Takes about 4-6 hours in full sun to charge completely. Will absolutely order again the next time hail takes them out.

I have one Arlo camera that is in an hard to reach place and another in a high-traffic area that runs out of battery frequently. Even with XL batteries, the camera looking at my driveway will often die after just a few weeks or less. So I bought two solar panels and installed them a few weeks ago. They are integrated directly into the app. So you see when sun is hitting the panel (see icons in green on the photo) and whether it’s changing. If the camera hits 100%, charging stops. My driveway camera was at 52% when I added the solar panel. It’s now hovering around 100% after less than a week. So even with all the activity it’s more than enough energy to keep the camera charged. And this is a solar panel on the north side of the house so I have to be tricky to aim it for maximum sun. The other camera is on an east side, so plenty of sun. If it’s not clear, you still need a battery in the camera for it to work. I’m not considering a third for another high traffic area. I can’t speak to longevity, but if that changes, I will update. I am very happy so far, to the point of getting nerdy and texting friend about how well it charged the two cameras.
