Well rounded tool.
4.5 stars. I love this machete for work and craft. Its light, sharp, and swings well. I can only deduct half a point because it will not fit in a standard GI machete sheath. I wonder if having the handle go up further on the blade to cover the finger choil would make the better or if its just a nit pick. I think when the handle needs to be replace I will try it. It is a great all around tool. I have use it for light brush, grasses, vines, splitting wood of reasonable size and crafting. It works well in each of these situations.

Solid blade. good sheathe. BUT blade is not that sharp [and for the pricve it should be], especially since the grind is not that easy at home.
