Excellent value, not for beginners
Having purchased a dozen or so pairs of skates for myself and children over the years, I have to make time to share how excellent these inline skates are! Not usually worth my time to write a review, but you should know some facts about skating: 110mm is a large wheel which means it takes more skill to manage your ankles and to stop, turn, and use safely Large wheels roll fast, and do better over rough surfaces Small wheels are the only way to learn, on perfectly smooth surfaces because your agility is vastly increased, and leverage on ankles is far less Having said these basic facts, you should not buy these skates as your first learning pair. However, the thrill of skating is greatly amplified by using this as a mode of transportation. It’s fabulous to skate across town to an event, and then skate home. Which will involve much rough surfaces, and require balance and skilled turning and stopping. Plan on getting skates like this for those long trips where surfaces are imperfect after you skate well enough. OK, so compared to skates ranging from cheap used all the way to carbon fiber 125mm wheeled speed skates costing four times as much as these. I find these skates to be the best value, and an excellent choice for the following reasons: Wheels are superb, with machined aluminum cores and thick quality urethane which means they roll awesomely Frames are aluminum, strong, and low profile which is a huge benefit for the large wheel size as low profile is important for agility and comfort Bearings are not sloppy or noisy, which surprised me for such a cheap skate Padding is thick and quite comfortable, especially for the price, wow Boot is strong and well made with beefy Velcro What I don’t like: Laces are two or three feet too long, it’s just nuts The color is a baby sky blue on trim where picture looked teal green which my kid would prefer No biggie with the negatives, as new laces are on as fast as we removed the heel brake. These skates are very impressive for the money, but ai will share one last tip in case you can’t make thousands of hours of research and skating happen like I have over the years. IMHO, the sweet spot for a skate purchase is about twice the cost of these skates and comes from the FR brand made in France, which makes the FRX skate in an 80mm wheel size I know some prefer the 90mm wheel size for all round use, and I won’t argue but 80mm wheels also work well in configuration of four per skate. When you know you want three 110mm wheels, and have determined this skate to be in your preferred price range you should stop looking and buy these. As much as I like my more expensive skates, there are smaller advantages once you spend more then twice the cost of these, IMHO This is an excellent skate for our long sessions over imperfect surfaces after just changing the laces and removing the heel brake. Look elsewhere only if you need a first pair to learn on, as way smaller wheels will be more forgiving ;)

La lengueta duele mucho en la pierna. El freno se cayó en la primera usada, lo puse varias veces y siguió cayéndose, hasta romperse el soporte. Mal diseño del freno, inutilizable.
