Diary of a Roblox Noob (Part 1)

My 5 year old enjoys reading these booms

My 10 year old hates reading but he’s been finding it easy to read these and is getting better with his comprehension. Will be passing these along once he’s done. The gift that keeps giving.

If your kids are fans of Roblox, they will no doubt enjoy this set. There are no pictures but my child had no problem enjoying the stories and using his imagination. He blew through the entire set in under a week. This is a great alternative to screen time! (I will write a separate review for the Set 2, but beware one of those books are exact duplicates with the exception of the cover and is extremely disappointing. )

My grandson loves the series

We haven't read them all yet but these are written in what could be called modern conversational tone and use common phrases and words kids might hear on YouTube on their favorite shows like Roblox. One reviewer said she thought the language was inappropriate. I haven't come across inappropriate words but there is some teasing about an overweight cop that is not dissimilar to things they hear on roblox or lankybox, which I agree is not something we want our kids thinking is ok. If it we're up to me, he wouldn't watch those shows but Que Sera Sera. My grandson who's going into 3rd grade manages to read them himself with very little help with the words; however the comprehension might be more for 4th grade and up. The style is as if the writer is simply talking. After having tried to read the first diary together, neither my grandson or I really know what the story is about. This is a well-made set and so far I would recommend it for 9+ since it should get them interested in reading. But it won't teach then values or offer much in the way of education. However punctuation seems very well edited, I'm impressed with the formatting and punctuation.

My g grandson, 8.5 years loves these books. I bought the first box set for him for Christmas along with a gift card for the actual game. I had ordered the second box set by mistake so I set it away to see if he was going to like this one. I’m keeping the second set to give him for his birthday. I think they are a bit pricy but hoping they will be books that he will read over and over.

My nephew loved this, he was so into the Roblox game the during his reading time these books became perfect for him.

This was a gift for my friend’s son and he loved it! The books quality is great and the box they came in keep them tidy.

Great reads for video gamers

Good chapter books but the outer box came a little damaged which is why I’m not giving it 5 stars.

What a great way to incorporate game play as well as reading. My grandson is so excited about these books. Thumbs up!!
