Is it as good or even close to greenlee

I've used greenlee for years, this set almost 2 years. Quality is just as good, honestly I like this one better and the case is nicer too.

What hydraulic fluid does it take?

A good quality hydraulic jack oil will work fine. Best practice is to drain original fluid before adding new.

Can it be used to punch on plastic PVC boxes?

YES it does - in fact that's EXACTLY how I use it. I am building remote Solar Powered microwave communications links. The main enclosure is 1/8 aluminum - the PVC Cantex box is about 3/16 thick. I mount the Cantex box to the enclosure - drill a single pilot hole and do both (1.5" conduit punch) in one shot ! Clean hole - perfect alignment - good luck - Bruce
