The mat itself is nice, easy to clean, easy to inflate, and seems sturdy. It does seem very hard to deflat and fold back up though.I read a review that says it would fit the California Beach co tent/play pen and would just be an inch off around. I'm here to say it's wayyy more than an inch off and to say don't buy it for that play pen lol. It's about 5-6 inches off of you put it to one side. If you put it in the center it's about 2 inches off around (however it does slide around) It's enough of a gap to where if my baby fell backwards, she could hit her head and get hurt. So we are sending it back.I think it would make for a great pad though for the right fitting play pen!

I read the reviews too. I know a lot of people complained about the “self inflating” feature. Upon opening the product and freeing it of its elastic bands it did begin to inflate. The suction of air was audible. After a couple of minutes it was very slow to where I realized it was either going to take forever (and I needed it now) or I had to inflate it myself. I ended up blowing into it like a regular inflatable. It’s really not that big of a deal. This mat is SO padded!!! It has a foam inside as well as the air it later gets by inflating. Don’t let the reviews steer you away. Once I blew it up and sealed the valve it was absolutely perfect and sturdy. It fits like a glove in the Regalo play pen. I’m not kidding. There are no gaps. My little one smacked his head on the floor while rolling in the playpen the other day. My play pen doesn’t have padding and the regular mat I was using was not padded enough at all. Insert this one. Please buy!! Whoever is really stuck on the fact that it does not self inflate is lazy. Blow it up and call it a day. Gosh.It’s very easy to clean up messes. Totally wipeable.I haven’t folded it back up for travel but it honestly seems as easy as opening the valve and rolling it into a burrito to release the air. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Perfect firm thickness flat for tummy time with newborns. Also perfect for children of all ages for many other activities. Fits play/safety play yard safely perfectly. Easy to transport in car, trips to grandparents or trips anywhere, hotels, campers etc. Highly recommended. May need to use blow dryer when first unfolding first time from being rolled up in original packaging. Kids will love it for playtime and/or rest time naps. Not puffy, it just right. Just the right size, not huge, but plenty of room for two kids if needed. Great for daycares too when used with play yard I bought together. Keeps children and babies safe. Highly recommended.

Not sure how this thing got so many good reviews, yes this is a cheaper version mat alternative for the pop and go playpin but it is a bit smaller and the thinkness is nothing to wow over. Lucky if it gets to .5 inch thick .. i purchased this cause we use out pop and go on a hard wood flood and needed padding. We got this in hopes it would help, luckily i ordered another pad to go ontop of this and we also wrapped both in a blanket to get "proper" padding

I was nervous to buy this bc of the mixed reviews. If you are looking for something to give a little extra cushion to your pop up dome this is a great way to make that happen. Will it feel the same as ur beds mattress? No...But it gives extra padding so that baby isn’t sitting directly on the hard ground. I sat in the dome with my baby just to see how it felt and I was very comfortable. For those that are looking for something to give some support so baby is comfortable playing in or outside in the dome. This is a good buy for you. If you are looking for something that will be pillow soft or like laying on a bed keeping looking bc you won’t like this.
