Great sugar sub. Not a sugar alcohol. No aftertaste or GI upset
Glad to get this big size. I use a lot of allulose: coffee, cereal, baking, on fruit and yogurt. My blood sugar has been lower now that I'm using this. Also, no stomach upset. I will say it acts differently in baking. You have to bake at a lower temperature. For example 300-325 vs 350 or things will burn. And you may need to use it with other sweeteners like regular sugar, erythritol(some studies say it may lead to blood clots or heart issues) or xylitol(only if you don't have dogs, xylitol is fatal to dogs).Otherwise your baked goods will not be crispy. They'll be soft. I made sugar free maple and chocolate syrup with it. Allulose is not a sugar alcohol and has been found to be safe. I haven't had any stomach or intestinal issues with it. No aftertaste.

Great Taste!
Excellent product! Great sugar flavor, doesn't impact blood sugar, close to sugar measurements in recipes. This is the only sugar substitute I use!

Great for baking
Great for baking, good sugar replacement. Still has good Maillard reaction/browning to create color when baking. Slightly less sweet but still effective for baking, can pair with monk fruit for even more sweetness Recommend this product

Not as sweet as some sweetners
Clean sweet taste. It is only about half as sweet as Truvia. I have been using this product to cut back on adding sweetness to my coffee. I started out using four packets per cup. I am down to only one. I can’t explain it, but I was never able to do that with other sweeteners.

I WAS PLEASED
I’ve use this in a few recipes and it tasted rather nice. I like the fact it’s derived from a natural plant source.

Mimics sugar but at a much higher price
I drink a lot of sweetened, homemade iced tea. I wanted to cut down on my calorie intake so I tried this product. It has a sweetening effect nearly-identical to sugar. One needs to use about a third more allulose to obtain the same sweetening as is indicated in its instructions. The only downside is it is much more expensive than table sugar. I've also tried monk fruit extract powder and it's "OK" and less expensive but it's sweetening effect is delayed with the iced tea application and does have a slight additional taste which is not present with allulose. EDIT: I'm going to amend my review. I've found that using this product gives me gastrointestinal issues. Rumbling intestines and diarrhea. Other users may have a different response. Typically, I'm not sensitive to much of any kind of food but I had to stop using this product. I wish I could tolerate it but unfortunately, it has a negative effect on me.

This stuff is great
I’m on my third bag of this Allulose. I really love it. I find that when I add it to my smoothie in the morning, I can go a lot longer before needing to eat again. It isn’t as sweet as sugar, and definitely not as sweet as other artificial sweeteners, but I’ve found that if I add just a pinch of stevia powder along with it, that makes up the difference. I like that it has a low glycemic index and actually helps with blood sugar levels. I’ve seen complaints about it being too lumpy. My first bag was extremely lumpy, so I put it in a zip lok bag and pounded it with the smooth side of my meat mallet. That worked really well. My second bag was perfect, and my current bag has small lumps. I think it’s just the nature of the product, and for the benefits, I’m willing to deal with it. The taste is so much better than other artificial sweeteners. I plan to keep using it. I haven’t tried it in baking because I just don’t bake much anymore, but everything else I’ve used it in has been great. I can put it in things my husband eats and he can’t tell it’s any different than what he’s used to

Looks and tastes perfect until you actually use it
You know those highly amusing reviews on sugar free gummy bears, making us all laugh about how absurdly entertaining it is when somebody doesn't know what they do? This does that. I made myself a pot of tea and added enough of this to sweeten it to my taste. I have little espresso cups I pour my tea into to drink since I keep my pot on a warmer, and about 3 mini cups in my stomach started making very displeased noises. I didn't know the signs, as my stomach is rarely in such a state, so I drank one more cup. That was a huge mistake. To say I'm pooing out my soul is accurate. It started suddenly and violently, the diarrhea was explosive and unforgiving. When I assumed the violence was over I attempted to make my way out of the bathroom, and the simple movement of walking brought on another onslaught of horror. Throughout the night I learned the true meaning of the phrase "punishing the toilet", as the things I did were criminal. I drank Pepto and managed to settle it down enough to go to sleep, trusting that a pad would catch anything. As I slept multiple times my stomach made noises of distress, but it held off until I finally woke up. The first thing I did was spend a solid 25 minutes on the toilet again. This is the Sunday I'm looking at. I don't get to do things, and my only trip is to the bathroom. Yes, this tastes like sugar. Yes, the calories are super low. Yes it functions like sugar. It does all that, but it might as well be renamed colon blow, because that's what's gonna happen if you use this like sugar.

Looks, feels and tastes like sugar but reading the facts about it seems that it is a healthier alternative

Allulose exceeded my expectations. It doesn't have any of the after taste what other sweeteners have. Tastes like sugar without any spike in bloodsugar.
