INM Northern Lights Silver Hologram Top Coat, Fast Drying, 1/2 Ounce (1-Unit)

I bought this on a whim because I adore the Out the Door fast drying top coat and wanted to try something new, and I’m glad I did! Let me preface by saying that I am NOT typically a fan of super noticeably shimmery or sparkly polishes/top coats, but the glitter in this formula is so finely milled it’s almost microscopic…no chunky glitter pieces or weirdly gritty/uneven texture to be found. It applies in one even, smooth coat and is quite subtle, yet also very striking and holographic when the light catches it or when you move your hands. I actually use it as a topper to my top coat, so I paint it on as the finishing step after having applied the OG out the door fast drying top coat to ensure maximum longevity and durability for my mani - works like a charm. If you like a little bit of drama but want to avoid in-your-face glitter polishes, you’ll love this top coat. I wasn’t even expecting to like it as much as I do, but I now use it to finish my manicures pretty much every week. It’s one I’ll certainly keep in my collection from now on!

Beautiful! Just what I wanted. A really beautiful fine glitter that is even prettier in person than shows in photos or videos. It’s delicate enough for an older person, but snazzy enough to be seen without chunky glitter. I love it! Wish the brush fanned out a little more when brushing, but other than that, perfect!

The picture shows my ring finger accent nail with the top coat. I love the tiny silvery glitter in this top coat. It looks great over black polish. Takes a bit of shaking to evenly distribute the glitter, but then it goes on smoothly and well distributed. Would definitely recommend this polish.

I bought this on the recommendation of Simplynailogical. It is a wonderfully subtle holo taco (holographic top coat). It claims to be a quick drying top coat, but it is definitely not my favorite for that purpose. It still dented 30min after I had applied it. I also felt like it had a slight mattifying effect on the holographic Colorclub polish I applied it over, but it looked shiny and wonderful over my matte Orly polish. As for ordering this on Amazon vs other places; I found this in my local Sally’s beauty supply after I had already ordered it from Amazon. I was surprised to find that when I tried to shake it up in store, it would not mix! I was so afraid that the Amazon one would do the same thing, but it mixed perfectly. I can only guess that the Amazon one was fresher and the Sally one had been sitting on the shelf for a long time, in the sun. So, I definitely recommend ordering it from Amazon. I normally used Sally Hansen's two-in-one base and top coat, but the polish tends to dry up in its bottle fairly quickly. This meant that I often needed to buy that stuff and watch it go to waste. It wasn't all that great a top coat either, dulling in shine within a couple of days of wear. I figured it was time for a change. I am seriously impressed with this top coat. As a nail polish collector and nail art addict, I NEED to have a resilient top coat to keep my polish/designs looking fresh as long as possible. As a holo addict, I wanted to find something that I could use with just about any mani and it look cute, incorporating a little holo into my everyday life. So when I found this top coat, I immediately wanted to try it. I bought this a little under two months ago, so I wanted to give myself a bit of time for multiples uses before reviewing. I was originally drawn to this top coat for the fine scattered holographic glitters in it, but I am in love with it for its durability. This top coat is no joke; it has kept my nail polish intact and I've been able to go 1 - 2 weeks without needing to redo my nails. It has held my nail polish in place through cleaning, showers, my general clumsiness, laundry, etc. I also love that it dries rather quickly so I don't have to wait forever for my nails to dry. I also like that it sort of peels off on its own when it has worn down after about a week or two, so I don't really need to use too much nail polish remover. This is forever going to be my top coat. No nail polish collection should be without this adorable and tough top coat. The price is right too, considering you get an excellent product without breaking the bank.

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews for this polish so I thought I’d leave my own review. I do my (natural) nails at home and have been looking for a subtle holographic nail polish to add to my collection. I think this one fits the bill perfectly. I’ve added pictures of one coat on a fresh mani, overall and upclose, as well as a video to showcase the glitter and how it looks in direct light. It’s beautiful in both direct and indirect light(ing). If you are looking for an application and appearance similar to other holographic nail polishes such as Rainbow Snow/the cult classics from Holo Taco, this is not the polish for you. This is subtle with small flecks of holographic sparkles. I have also seen several reviews that mention that there’s not a lot of glitter in the polish. When I first received the bottle, it looked as if there were none. Upon on inspection, it had settled on the backside of the bottle and at the bottom. I rolled the bottle between my hands for a few moments and it dispersed the glitter nicely. I found that there was plenty of glitter in the bottle and it provided a nice, even application when applied to the nail. I would recommend rolling your bottle each time you use it to disperse the glitter evenly. Do not shake as this creates air bubbles in any polish! You can also layer for a more dramatic effect but again, if you are looking for a chunky or very noticeable holographic effect, I would go for something else. Overall, I love this and would recommend. I wanted something holographic and subtle and that’s exactly what this is.

First time using it was ok. Glitter is really really fine and can hardly be seen unless you do several coats. Started flaking the day after applying it (I only used 2 coats). Then after a week of sitting (upright/correctly) in my drawer, all the glitter formed at the bottom and wouldn’t disperse back into the entire bottle even when shaking it. It was just like glued to the bottom. So now it is not even usable. I have no idea how this nail polish has gotten any good reviews.

Excelente top coat, seca en segundos. Si no agitas la botella, es totalmente transparente, pero si se agita, surgen muchísimos brillitos miniatura, le da un toque muy lindo a las uñas. Super recomendado.
