Wonderful for car trips or just math learning.
These are amazing. I can't believe they are so simple, and so useful. It makes me want to kick myself for not thinking of them? This set came with 5 sets of "keys". Each set covers one operation. So there is addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and equivalent fractions. Each set has 10 keys in it. The first key is "1". It lists a number on the left, you take the string from there, add 1, and put the string to the correct answer on the right side. This is not too difficult. The beauty is when you are done. You turn the key over, and there are raised lines on the back of the key. If the operation was done correctly, for instance, 1 on the left, add one, and the string goes to the 2 on the right, you won't be able to see the raised line on the back. If any of the questions were done incorrectly, you'll see some raised lines. This allows students to self-correct, and doesn't require the parent to check every answer every time. Overall, a great idea, and well executed.

Cooler than they look
These are so great. At first, I thought options like Blooket or XtraMath might be better because theyโre quicker and focus more on fast recall. But these have something special too, and if I could only choose one, I think Iโd choose these. I really like the tactile/kinesthetic learning aspect. The answer seems to stay in the childโs mind a little longer because theyโre physically interacting with it, almost like slowing the process down just enough for it to stick. Itโs not slow in a bad way; it just gives the math a little more room to settle. It feels like a slightly different angle on practicing math skills, and I think thatโs really helpful, especially for building strong math fundamentals. There's a little bit of a learning curve on holding it, but that gets ironed out pretty quickly. They seem solid too; I was worried they'd be flimsy/breakable but that doesn't seem to be the case. I do wish they were cheaper, but I still think it's a good purchase.

Highly recommend!
I love the wrap-ups. I had used them for years with my 2nd grade class. We used the addition and subtraction wraps. I purchased this new set for my grandchildren to use. The oldest is in third grade and is already working on division. He is using the +, - & x to review those and increase his fluency. I love the fact that you have a fractions wrap also..

These are a phenomenal math teaching product, and empowers children as they learn!!
The Math wrap-ups are not only fun, and educational; ecause they empower students by allowing them to Self-Correct, which eliminates any shame or negative self talk, or feelings, about being wrong or stupid! I have used the Wrap-Ups with my students, and my children for more than 25 years! They are very durable, and an excellent, and outstanding math teaching manipulative. Itโs is my favorite product, by far, for learning math facts!

Educational and fun
My daughter came home recently and started talking about wrap ups they were using at school, then we got a notice talking about them and how handy they are in teaching the kids math facts. We decided to purchase a set of our own so she can have them at home, and they are so great. A fun easy way to help her memorize her multiplication tables, and learn other math as well. When my son is old enough, he will use them too. I find they are also handy in my home daycare setting, and the kids love them. So different from when I was learning in school. But very cute to keep them interested and feel like they are almost playing a game while learning. They are very colorful and are made with a very durable plastic material. The string has also proved to be durable and has yet to budge from its connection to the keys. We recommend this for any school age child who wants to have fun while learning.

Wrap Ups Math Intro Kit A-OK!
My soon-to-be 3rd grade daughter has been a poor match for her school's "Investigations" TERC program (It may work for some kids but after 3 years of it, I say it is an abysmal failure for my kid). We are working over the summer to plug in some holes.... place value, mental math and math facts acumen and though it is verboten (shhhh) she will be memorizing her multiplication tables during 3rd grade in our own time (though we will first use the multiplication wrap ups by counting up by each factor...then memorize). I thought the wrap-ups were way over-priced but otherwise, we have been really happy with them. We use them to practice mental math strategies and patterns, fact families and will also use them for recall. My kid learns best by acting things out and moving around so the wrap-ups are perfect for her. I was shocked at how long the novelty of matching the pattern on the back of the wrap ups lasts....she is still tickled (after a few months) when she gets the patten 100% correct. We do a bit of driving in the mornings and these are perfect for the car as well. They are are very sturdy.
