I looked long and hard ,studying reviews both good and bad .No matter how many good reviews, the bad ones deterred me from taking the plunge. I eventually came upon the JETech case in 3 colors and,( in my by this time brain fatigued state) really fancied the Venice scene. That will do nicely, I figured.. At last ,great reviews and a cool looking colorful case I thought (yeah, I know). It wasn't long before I realized that what I was viewing was the screen of the tab 4 not the case cover. Losing the will to continue I almost gave up but strayed and landed upon a youtube review of a tab 4 8.0 JETech case, (mine's a tab 4 7.0 but no matter). Well, that sold me instantly, forget the color, the bling..who needs it. The reviewer ...I assume was just an ordinary joe receiving his purchase . He sold me on it, there was no turning back. I got me the plain black case and voila, it is perfect, I love it. It fits like a dream and looks the part. The tab 4 just slots in the case and everything lines up superbly. Need I say more? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Great little case with snug fit and plastic corners give some bump protection. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on December 10, 2014* The case is almost perfect. For the price it is definitely a very good buy. The inside cover is soft to protect the screen. The cover has magnets that keep the cover closed. The magnets are located on the middle edge of the cover. The magnet will also keep the screen in the upright viewing position or the little triangle fold with the magnets attaching to itself to keep it in place nicely. No slipping to worry about and it can make a nice little handhold if you are reading. The plastic corners of the case that the device snaps into provides some bump protection. I feel more comfortable dropping it down on a desk with the case than without it. While I do not recommend dropping a tablet, I would rather have a case on it like this than nothing at all to help break the fall. (But do realize this is not a Otterbox, nor intended to be.)The only drawback is that the magnet does not attach in the same manner if the cover is folded flat across the back of the case. There is no magnet attach points to grab onto. It does lay nicely and does not seem to be a big detractor, but would be nice to have included that as part of the workmanship in the case. Overall an excellent buy. The seller delivered on-time and and it fits perfectly and snugly without being to tight. There is no problem reaching any of the devices buttons and the cameras and mikes are not covered up. The build quality is far better than I would have expected for a sub $10 case. The design is mostly excellent (just one minor problem which I explain below). All ports and buttons all accessible. The speaker and camera cutouts are in the right places. The tablet is held firmly in place and will not fall out by accident (it's actually a bit of a struggle to get the tablet out). Magnetic closure works nicely.I have been using it for about two weeks now and it still looks and works great, so I expect durability will be good.2 things I would suggest as an improvements:1. An indentation in the cover to prevent the home button from being pushed accidentally. As you probably know, the home button turns on (or wakes up) the T230 tablet. With a little bit of pressure directly over the home button it's pretty easy to wake up the tablet with the cover closed. This hasn't turned out to be a major problem for me, but if they fixed that flaw I think this cover would be perfect.2.
