The only supplement that truly helped my gastritis
This supplement has honestly been life-changing for me. I’ve struggled with gastritis for years. I went to a gastroenterologist, did several tests, and tried different medications. Most of them helped for a short time, but the problem always came back. I discovered this product by chance while reading online reviews, and I decided to give it a try. To my surprise, it completely stopped my gastritis. I’ve been using it for several months now. Sometimes I stop taking it for a while, but whenever my stomach acts up again, I go back to it and it always works. I don’t know what makes this brand different, but even when I’ve tried other supplements with the same ingredients, they never worked as well. Somehow this one just does. The only downside for me is the price. It’s a bit expensive for the amount you get, but honestly, I keep buying it because it’s the only one that gives me real results. For me, it’s worth every penny. I’ve recommended it to a few other people who had similar stomach problems, and they’ve said the same thing. It really works.

Good
This formulation of zinc plus Colostrum supplements makes up a protocol in a study done in japan for leaky gut. I believe it may help other types of gastrointestinal issues, but do your own research. Point is, I followed the protocol mentioned in the study for about a month, then continued taking it off and on since…and wow the improvement in symptoms is so real. I used to get severe gut aches, now it’s more like occasionally I feel like I’m bloated and the discomfort is much milder. I’m grateful it worked.

Great for Gastritis
I took this product to help heal a chronic case of gastritis. After using it for two weeks, the pain (as well as other symptoms) are gone. I like to think I'm pretty sensitive to my body and (upon starting a regimen of zinc carnosine) could almost feel my system healing a little more each day. The idea with this combination of Zinc is it coats and sticks to the stomach and duodenum, as well as the small intestine. While clinging to the upper GI, it has time to protect the stomach and intestinal linings, kill harmful bacteria (including H. Pylori), heal mucosa, and maybe even regrow tissue. Whatever the case, it's made me feel a ton better. The dosage used to heal ulcers in a Japanese study is 75mg, twice a day. Swanson's recommended dosage is half that. The half dosage seems to be working for me and is closer to the USDA recommended amount of Zinc/day. I take 1 pill an hour before bed and 1 first thing in the morning. The Japanese study was 75mg. after lunch and 75mg. before bed, I believe. This product is also the cheapest form of Zinc Carnosine I've been able to find and the patented Pepzin GI assures that you're getting the right combo of Zinc to Carnosine (the one patented in the US to match that used in the Japanese studies). Also, from what I've read, Swanson is a well established brand that uses 3rd party testing and is a member of consumer advocacy groups. If you have an ulcer or gastritis or even bad reflux, this product may be the relief you're looking for. I'm not a medical professional...Just a guy who did some research to find an alternative cure for his gastritis. And Zinc Carnosine worked wonders for me. I wish I'd found it before the endoscopy or acid blockers or antibiotics or arrogant doctor who didn't have the time to answer my questions, but instead gave me some scripts and showed me the door...

Zinc Carnosine Review
I had used Prilosec for a few years. Both OTC and prescription. Yes it does stop heartburn and acid reflux, but at a very high price. Many side effects are never even listed. You must do research to find them. I was losing excessive amounts of hair, sometimes by the handful. I developed right hip pain. The worst side effect was the depression. Sometimes for several weeks, other times for only a few days. After some simple research you can find that these and a few others are very common for people taking this type of drug. I like my hair, hated the pain in my hip and my husband was worried about the depression as was I. One article I read mentioned Zinc Carnosine and the Japanesse study. After a little more research I decided to try it. The first two weeks were a struggle, frequent heartburn and the withdrawal of the Prilosec. Things begin improving the third week. I found taking the Zinc with meals worked much better for me, morning and evening. The four and fifth week I had only occassional heartburn. My husband committed on how much better I appeared to be feeling and I was. My hair had stopped coming out by the handfulls and I had no periods of depression, pain in my hip was much less now. Prilosec inhibits absorption of calcium by the way. Opps, something else they never mention! I had some breakthrough heartburn the last two weeks. I was worried that the Zinc may not work for long. I cut back on the amount of milk I was drinking since dairy products require twice as much stomach acid to digest them. I have been heartburn free for two weeks after completing the eight weeks of zinc therapy. If it should return I will use the Zinc Carnosine again over Prilosec or any other form of the drug. It works. I think lots of people tend to overtlook the fact that over the counter drugs are still just that, DRUGS. All side effects are rarely listed. If there is a natural way to treat a disease, you should have that choice offered at the same time as a prescription treatment. In our system of healthcare, or lack of, money is and always will be MOST doctors main concern. Be it by returning visits or a bonus for writing x number of prescriptions. When given a prescription or purchasing an OTC drug, do research, ask questions. Never take that first pill until you are sure it is what you believe is best for you, not what someone else believes is best for you.

Literally used it to recover from my stomach ulcer. Worked as intended and thank god I don't feel like every day was the worst day of my life anymore. Hope no one ever has a stomach ulcer ever, but if u do consider adding this one in on the recovery methods after some research and consulting your doctor

I don't know about the efficacy of product. I wish there was a way to know how this product works on the body. I used to open the capsule and eat the powder and throw the capsule shell. Taste is good, kind of powdered flax seed. Hoping that it supports my digestion. Giving it 05 stars.
