Product arrived early and was exactly what I needed to repair my tall kenwood fridge which is manufactured by curry’s. It’s a common fault every 12 months the wires fray on the door which affects the control panel and put the fridge into holiday mode. £10 for part which was easy to do myself when curry’s repair was over £100!!!

It was simple to replace the defective wiring loom to the front door display panel as this designed to allow reversing the door to hang on the opposite side if required. The loom is access via easily removed covers and has snapping connections for ease of connecting. Careful removal of the covers should be carried out to avoid damage, then pressing firmly to cover wiring with care not to trap or pinch the wires.

I bought this one in particular because it was supposed to be 60 strand silicon wire. However, this one has around 10 strands and PVC coating. Very similar to the original that failed in just over a year.

I was pleased I could still get these as the fridge freezer is still working well.
