The material comes packaged well, in a vacuum bag, but when working with the material in wants to unravel easily, so you have to ensure you sew the ends well and sew the line well.

I needed 2 for my 7.5 ft tree but they were beautiful

I use it on my Christmas tree and look great.

There is about 1/2 inch width of rolled fur attached to 1/2 inch of tape. This is not just a strip of fur. It is good quality though and would be great sewn into seam on fabric. Not sure if it will work for my project but not a bad deal!

I used it for the trim on holiday themed skirts. I probably could've made about 5 circle skirts but one of mine (pictured) was pleated with extra fabric so I made 3 with a fair amount of extra. I found a couple loose spots and they shed a little but it didn't affect them. I don't plan on washing them anyway, I might just spray with alcohol if needed. Very soft and full.

I can't say that I enjoyed sewing this trim on (It was a bear to do!), but I love how it turned out. I especially love having a one-of-a-kind Mrs. Claus costume that on one else on the planet will have! Still waiting on the cloak to get here...that will be embellished also.

This is not what the picture looks like at all. It looks like someone cut the fur fringe off their jacket. Can't believe I paid this much money for this. It's really cheap and not what I expected.
