Very weak! Do not buy! Disappointed!
I purchased the scobby with the hope to make kombucha as I am familiar of making it. My previous one got lost from a friend while I was out of the country. Regretfully today is already more than a month since the purchase but the scoby didn't picked up. We keep making it but drink some sweet and weak tea. Guess the seller was selling something old product or just don't know how to make the proper scobby for kombucha. VERY disappointed!

Fabulous starter culture
Received a very strong starter culture. It works brilliant and the instructions were easy to follow. I did a 2nd fermentation in the bottle with homemade passion fruit syrup and the taste is outstanding. Very nice culture, not too tangy either.

Blue mold beings to grow. May be the scoby or it may not.
Not sure if it’s the scoby that has an issue or the cold. When I order the scoby it was cold out so I don’t if the issue is the cold or scoby because the kombucha begins to develope blue mold.

Excellent scoby!
Excellent scoby! I put it in a tea brew the day after I got it and let it set for 20 days. I had a new scoby to start another batch of tea. I left the mother scoby in the hotel and another scoby is forming. A new scoby is forming in the batch of tea I'm making as well. I'm looking forward to some great kombucha. FYI, clean your bottles with white vinegar not apple cider vinegar, I used acv last time and it killed the fizz in my kombucha.
