Canon PIXMA TR4720 All-in-One Wireless Printer, Home Use with Auto Document Feeder, Mobile Printing and Built-in Fax, Black

Not the easiest to understand Setup Instructions, in fact more than a little complicated and confusing. You don't have to be an engineer to set it up, but it's an advantage if you are. The plastic is a bit thin and cheap, but after you wade through the setup it's pretty much downhill after that, it does work very good, and at a very good price. I use scanning and email rather than faxing, and the scanning is great, very nice printing with a lot of options for saving ink such as draft mode etc., mostly use it for scanning, and I don't print a lot but noticed this unit is a bit faster than my previous printer. First Canon printer I've had and hope it lasts as long as my previous one that lasted eight years. So far I'm very happy with it and like the features. Almost got one from one of the competitors, then noticed there was no scanning feeder, scanning one sheet at a time is way too horse and buggy for me. Love the scanning feeder on this one, as well as many of the other features. Looks good, not too big, quiet running.

I only paid $64 for this printer on sale. It’s been great! It was super easy to set up, and it’s easy to change ink. I can print over WiFi in my house from my phone or laptop easily. It prints clear and colorful. The only downside is I feel like I go through ink rather quickly but I print a lot of recipes and documents. The ink bundle is somewhat reasonable at $38 for both black and color ink on subscription through Amazon. I highly recommend this model printer for home use. It’s light and fairly compact.

This printer is the the most terrible, uneconomical POS I have ever had the displeasure of using. Set up from my cell phone was easy and done in minutes. Sounds like a compliment, however... It is an immense struggle getting anything else to sync with the printer. It will randomly just be unavailable FOR NO REASON! It doesn't matter what we try to send, it fails without explanation. Even the test page will fail. This includes both wired and wireless jobs. It will literally be unavailable to the wired connection. The printer boasts about its auto-document feeder and 2 sided copying: HA HA HA HA HA HA What a nightmare! The document feeder works fine The 2 sided copying ONLY WORKS when you cycle thru the settings and select 2 sided (remember to set it back to normal every time) Want to feed your 2 sided document in to get 2 sided copies? NOPE! You have to feed 2 one sided documents to get the 2 sided copy. Are we having fun yet? Now for my most despised feature: THE STUPID INK CARTRIDGES PRINT AN AVERAGE OF 90 PAGES BEFORE NEEDING TO BE REPLACED!!!! Hey, if you're lucky, you'll get a black ink replacement for $25, usually more like $30. You would pay less to take your documents to CVS or a Copy/Print shop. AWESOME! In all fairness: The printer quality is beautiful It's light weight and compact, perfect for home or cramped dorms It's relatively quiet and fast (if it's nice enough to allow you to connect) I HATE IT! The lower prince lured me in. This was a gift for my elderly mother to print her weekly meeting documents, send fax or scan as needed. SHE CANNOT WORK IT WITHOUT ME, no one can. She must think I hate her for buying her such a beautiful useless piece of crap. I wish I knew in time to return it. Now I'm going to buy her another printer and will have to have this one destroyed so no innocent unsuspecting person finds it and thinks it will be useful. This is the Annabelle of printers (minus the killing), it will send you down a dark path of rage and frustration.

I don't do a lot of printing, so I don't need a high-end printer. This one gets the job. But it is not perfect. It's next to impossible to read the digital display without a light on it. It was jamming up paper and when I looked into it, there was a little piece of foam rubber that had popped out of its holder. It was catching the paper. Without a flashlight and a hard look inside, I never would have noticed that. Basically, it's just a cheap printer. But for light printing, it gets the job done. I've used the scanning tool and it works perfectly. And it also prints very nicely. Setup was also easy with the Canon program.

I am in love with my printer, easy to set up, and easy to use. Works well and no flaws when printing.

I needed a replacement printer as my older canon (which weighs a ton) hasn’t been printing properly. The ink used to be expedited or 5 cartridges too. This printer requires 2 cartridges which I have found to cost $55 for the XL tanks and $35 for the standard tanks. This to me is much more affordable. This printer is also much more lightweight which I can appreciate. It’s easy to move around if I need to. The copy and print works great. I copied the set up paper and printed. The color and alignment was great. I need to use it for faxing every once in awhile, but I have ooma WiFi landline so it’s very tricky to make it work. Overall I am very satisfied with quality and price. I did get the extended warranty through Amazon to cover 4 years. Price at the time of purchase and review 74.99

This printer is excellent, makes great black ink / color ink copies. Printer is attractive, sturdy, a little heavy in weight like a printer would be. This is an "office" printer, for anyone thinking this is a lightweight, bedroom printer.......NO, this is an office printer. Set-up was a little adventurous, because it's not really detailed how to load the paper in front and so we searched for a Youtube video and found one. At that point, it was as smooth as glass. Note: you have to have the printer turned on, in order to go through the step-by-step instructions for set-up. PRINTER DOES NOT COME WITH PAPER. Make sure you buy paper if you don't have some. We bought HP paper on Amazon. Printer comes with one black ink cartridge, and one color ink cartridge. Make sure you read the RED & WHITE colored flyer that says SETUP INSTRUCTIONS. From that point, you can either connect the printer directly to your computer (if you have the correct jack), or you can download the app and print from there (we had to download the app). Make sure you SAVE the printer to your DEVICES on your computer. We're not trying to give instructions, insulting people for not knowing these things. On the contrary, we're not "tech-y" people here in this house, and so we had to figure out all these things that tech-y people would think is just automatically known. We're very happy with this purchase. Thank you Amazon, for selling this printer. It was also better-priced and with faster shipping than other stores we checked out online.

good product except you have to buy both ink packs to have it operational just putting black ink in wont work . I dont need color ink prints so forces me to buy color anyways
