easy to use innovative notebook
This is my favorite notebook. I got it cheaper here on Amazon than on specialty stationery websites. I love that the notebook is thin and small and doesn't add much weight to my bag. The paper quality is very nice and I never feel like I'm going to accidentally rip the paper while flipping through. Being able to rearrange my notes is perfect so that I can keep similar pages together or if I am in a rush, flip to any page and know that I can move it later. I also will move my notes if I will be using my notebook to take notes on a conversation with someone else, such as a conference or interview, so that my existing notes do not distract the speaker. The opening mechanism is easy to use and there's a visual reminder of it on every page.

Highly recommended, beautiful notebooks
I absolutely love these notebooks. I love their color, size, the unique binding which allows removing and replacing pages without tearing the paper. I am so glad I found them. They aren't huge or big, but for me they are perfect.

Awesome!
Who'd have thought you could buy basically a ring binder that is refillable? This little notebook is great. The only downside is that the refills are expensive for paper. You can buy a hole-punch and make your own paper inserts, which probably cuts down on price in the long term, but I'm not that crafty.

I love these notebooks and gush about them to anyone who ...
I love these notebooks and gush about them to anyone who will listen! I probably have four or five of them now, and I buy the refill paper all the time. I have seen other people comment that the paper is "too white" but this doesn't bother me. I am fine with white paper. But if you are the kind of person who wants your paper a very specific shade, you probably know who you are already. I mostly want to say that I first bought these because my boyfriend had the Kokuyo Campus Smart Ring binders, and I thought it was a cool concept and went to look at buying one... but I saw several people saying they prefer these, and I fully agree. I think they are sleeker, the rings stay closed MUCH better, the rings are easier to open, close, and line up in my opinion, it is easier to add paper.... The weird 'twist' part of the twist ring notebook is really what makes it so good, I think. So if you are on the fence between the two, I vote for this one!

Not fountain pen friendly
Pic shows bleedthrough with a *very* dry ultra-fine nib (pilot decimo 14k EF nib tuned down to ultra-extra-fine width) using light color middle-of-road-wetness ink (30% Herbin Poussiere de Lune, 70% Herbin Larmes de Cassis). I write with a moderately light hand with finer nibs to ensure finer line width and avoid scratchy feedback. Pros: - Lihit Labs uses the international standard 3:1 pitch (3 holes per inch) punching for notebooks, so their paper is compatible with any notebook conforming to that standard. This contrasts with similar use-case Kokuyo "Smart Ring" notebooks, which - although they have moderately better paper options for FPs (especially their Shikkari firm writing refill papers) - use a messed-up proprietary perversion of a 3:1 pitch punch spacing incompatible with other bindings. - Lihit Labs' Twist Ring system is FAR superior in reliability -- - staying closed when not deliberately opened, - ring joins not catching/tearing pages when I leaf through quickly - easily/quickly/completely/securely opening & closing when I want to move/add sheets -- to its main competitor, Kokuyo. I highly recommend the Lihit Labs bindings. For pencil and oil-based fine line ball-point pens, the paper is very good for writing on both sides. For nano and micro point gel-ball pens such as Uni or Zebra 0.28-0.4mm point pens, these might work fine. For fiber/felt point micro liners or any type of fountain or stylographic or technical drawing pen, bleedthrough for using both sides of the sheets will be an issue, so if ghosting is a problem for you, look for other paper. You CAN simply refill these with other papers. Kokuyo sells their refill papers in ream (or in 2-hole punched ruled/dotted/graph refill sheets) that could be re-punched with a 3:1 standard page punch if you want the best of both worlds. Other superior affordable papers (need punching, sometimes folding in half first) to refill Lihit Lab Twist Ring bindings I recommend (in order of my preference): DesignPhil Midori MD Sanzen/Sakae Iroful 75gsm Muji (mujirushi) Kokuyo Campus Shikkari firm writing loose leaf Filofax Notebook/Planner refills Neenah Atlas Bond/Capitol Bond 20lb (90gsm) Neenah Classic Columns 24lb Maruman Mnemosyne Hobinichi Techno Sanzen/Sakae Tomoe River 68gsm Life Notebook

Super handy
Taking out the pages to rearrange them is super handy and I wish I had this notebook earlier. If you are from the US remember to check the dimensions of the notebook because if you order the wrong one you will get a super small notebook that is rather uncomfortable to use.

Smooth paper, good for note-taking
I'm using lihit lab notes since high school. What is special about it is you don't have to tear the paper off the notebook. You can simply unravel the mechanical plastic binder to take off a piece of paper. The best.

Great concept, very poor product packaging
The product came damaged and dirty. It looks like it's been dragged and melted as you will see in the video. I reccieved it with other items and the other items were in perfect condition. I love the concept of the book. It's very thin which I love because I hate hauling heavy notebooks. And the paper quality is great. But I'm my first impression was no a good one. I do belive it's the company's error because all the other items came intact with no damages. And it did come inside a thin film bag which was NOT DAMAGED or open in any way. I had my hoped up way too high for this.
