Used for party & great to add ice to lid & place on bottom to keep food chilled. Holds quite a bit of food. I prefer to hand wash rather than dishwasher to keep looking like new.

It was a good size tray. I loved that you can use the top as either a cover or fill it with ice and place it at the bottom of the tray to keep food cool! I used it and an iced fruit and veggie platter. This worked great!! The fruit lasted all day

This was a perfect tray for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner parties. It keeps the vegetables crisp and fresh and if I put the spinach dip in the middle it keeps that nice and cool as well. (Sure it would work well with shrimp but I like to make my own ice bowl for those.)

I, too, was a little disappointed and thought by looking at the photos that there were 3 pieces to this serving tray...the compartments, top and bottom for ice... I guess I should have read a few reviews before hand? But still love it for it's size and price...a good sturdy dish and know I will also love using it...Thank you.

Great party platter to keep food cold. Seems durable, only used it once.

My fault, but I was price comparing and found this serving dish looked just like a few more expensive ones, so SCORE! Or so I thought. This one only has the tray and a lid (which doubles as the ice trough). I wanted a lid, tray AND an ice trough. Looking back at the description, it does specify the lid can be used as a lid OR the ice trough. I just ordered the more expensive 3-piece tray.

The current description clearly shows that this is a two piece set and the lid can be used to either cover the food or hold ice, not both. So discount all the older reviews that claim they didn't receive what they thought they were due. I suspect that the original description was not as clear. However, I would love it if you would sell the lids as a separate item so that we can use the tray with both the lid and for ice. I also need a replacement lid as one of mine walked away at a weekend event. I used two of them to display large gulf shrimp that were worthy of something better than a paper plate. As fast as they went, I probably didn't need the ice.

My son wanted shrimp cocktail during a 90 degree weekend for his event. I ordered this and it didn’t disappoint. In the fridge I used the lid to cover the fish and when it was time to serve, I filled the lid with crushed ice, nestled in those luscious shrimp and served. Perfect. Dishwasher cleanup and easy storage. I have since used it for fruit and chocolate hummus and melon wrapped in prosciutto.

I used to mix all my salad but with this tray you have different sections and it makes eating salad fun

Very well made. Will be perfect for out snacks at the beach or patio
