GREAT Mobility Device for Temporary or Permanent Movement Needs--This is the TALL Version
This is an EXCELLENT option for people who need some stability assistance in order to enhance their mobility. My husband has developed a neurological condition that's necessitated occasional use of a device like this and when he needs to use it, it is ABSOLUTELY PRICELESS and has helped us prevent several falls. He uses it in the house when needed and it's helped him "motor" out in public to a degree he's been unable to do for a couple of years and for that, I'm very grateful. It's very easy to steer, not wobbly at all, feels very solid, and gives him the extra confidence he needs when necessary. We haven't taken it on any long trips yet, but for visits to the doctor's office and physical therapy, it more than paid for itself the first time we used it. He was able to navigate through a parking lot, across an outdoor skyway, into an elevator and through several wings of an office building with ease. In the past, this would have been an "impossible journey," but this rollator has made it safe and easy for him and stress-free for me. The tall version works well for him (6'3") and he's even lowered the "handlebars" a click or two below their maximum setting. He says the brakes are responsive but not too tight, with just the right amount of "grab." It has a sturdy canvas seat in case a rest break's needed & the storage pouch is large and accommodates kindles, phones, and even (at home) a curious cat. The color's a vibrant, attractive red, which he loves. The wheels do not interfere with his gait in any way and I, as the "car loader in chief" appreciate the fact that this is easy to fold, lock, and lift into our car for transport. It basically "folds" in half for transport (just pull up on a handle built into the canvas seat & it will easily collapse for storage--there's a little red plastic "lock" that will keep it in the folded position). This "folding feature" also lets you safely navigate through more narrow doorways, when needed (pulling up on the handle slightly will allow the frame to "shrink" and inch or two or three, till you get through the doorway. Then just push back down on the frame to fully lock it back into its usual width). It's a really nice looking rollator: sturdy, well-finished and well worth the price we paid, in my opinion. The wheels roll well on pavement, carpet, and tile. We haven't taken it off-roading, yet : ) Most Enthusiastically Recommended! P.S. One quick tip: after one of our trips to the doctor's office, I noticed a sound that sounded like a dry bearing on one of the wheels. When I checked for the source of the sound, I discovered that a small portion of the silver brake cable had slightly folded in, toward the tire, when I'd loaded it into the car. That was the source of the noise; just a very gentle bend of the cable away from the affected wheel fixed the issue and eliminated the sound immediately. Just thought I'd mention it, in case others hear a noise and don't realize how easy it is to fix. Unless you used to fix your own bike as a kid like I did, you might not know what to do : ) ---- Have a question about this Nitro? Just leave a Comment & I'll be happy to help you, if I can.

Very Light yet does the job perfectly
This Rollator is very light and folds down quite well. It is easy to load into the back seat of the car. It is very quiet when rolling. Really like the small pedal at the back to get up over curbs. Very comfortable to sit in. I am quite short (4' 10") and the seat is a good height for me.

Drive Nitro has made my life so much easier... your next!
I am mobile again!!! My hip pain was โcripplingโ; my โwalking sticksโ no longer could keep me moving when I left my house. I didnโt have the strength to even go a short distance of 25 feet, my world was shrinking and I was so very depressed... I decided to try a rollator. The first one I purchased gave me mobility - it gave me confidence and I realized I wasnโt going to be bedridden anytime soon... but this rollator was too heavy and bulky for me to easily go up and downstairs. It was difficult for me to load into my car. Was around 30ilbs....and very sturdy... and was built for a heavier person than me. Was rated for a 300lb person; I have a friend that has been using a rollator and she is on the heavy side. She told me that I should add at least 50lbs to my weight and thatโs what I should use that weight in making my decision. I had lost my appetite as my pain at times was very intense, started eating fruits , etc. I had been studying the various rollator options on Amazon. I have come to depend on Amazon for most of my shopping as I can shop in the comfort of my home and canโt beat shipping with Amazon Prime! I saw this Drive Tall Rollator, and I loved the red color!!! It weighed 14 lbs, I knew I could easily handle loading this Drive Nitro into my car & going up and downstairs would be so much easier. When I decided to order my RED DRIVE TALL NITRO; I knew the price was high- the โtoo heavy rollatorโ I bought here locally was about $230 as well. As a widowed senior, I try to watch my spending. But I figured my life will be so much easier...when I was on the Drive Nitro site, I noticed there was an option for buying an unused Drive Nitro-box was opened: it was a return & unused. PLUS The price was about $40 less!! It arrived a few days later, left at my front door. The box looked like it had been a very rough trip- torn and dented- I wondered if I should have paid the regular price. With the box damaged- it was very easy to rip open!! And there was my beautiful, RED DRIVE NITRO TALL, without a scratch, dent, tear... in perfect condition!!!! The lighter frame really makes my various outings so much easier. Iโm able to do things Iโve always enjoyed - before all the hip pain. Since Iโm walking more, my hip pain is no-where near what is was. Oh, I will get stabbing pains that remind me of why I need this rollator. BTW: my perfectly good but heavy rollator...my neighbor had recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, the family was devastated. Her husband, 2 teenage boys, and little girl, were big help for Mom, I noticed she walked with so much pain. I immediately gave her my โgently usedโ rollator. She had many hands to help her lift this rollator in and out of their car. Stairs-no problem. I get stopped at least once a day by men and women asking what brand, how light is this, easy use... it may be for their use but others have loved ones struggling to be mobile. I let them take mine for a spin- the easy turning, lightweight... when we part, I can see the excitement in their faces...

My 90 yr old mom's posture has improved significantly with this walker
I got this walker for my 90 year old mother. She's used a wheeled walker for years, but the one she had was designed so that the handles were at fingertip height. It also caused her to hit her knees on the seat as she walked, so she had to push the walker out in front of her. This made her bend forward as she walked and over the years she got so she could barely stand straight, even when not using the walker. A friend had this Drive Medical walker and despite some serious health problems, he stands straight as he walks. So I got one for Mom. What a difference! Her posture has improved significantly and her stride is lengthening because she no longer smacks her knees on the seat as she walks. This Drive Medical walker is much more maneuverable and has a smaller turning radius so she moves around her apartment much more easily. It's also easier to fold, carry and lift into a vehicle. It's a much better design all the way around. I wish I'd known about it sooner.

This is fabulous
I love love love it. It enables me to even go on trails. My first one lasted 6 years. Still worked but tires split. I purchased 2 more one 3 years ago to keep in the car. When the oldest one needed to be replaced I purchased this one I keep one in the car and one in my shed to walk from my house. The one I bought 3 years ago went touring with me exploring ruins. I really thought it would be finished business but it held up beautifully. Downfalls. The mesh bag in the front seems to tear easily. On my older one I repaired it. Expensive to replace. Only other problem is it's hard to get in and out of my trunk. I always have to lower the arms. I keep one of the smaller type walkers in my trunk. This one I keep in my suv. Folds easily isn't hard for me to lift and fits beautifully. Also you can just slide it out. Easy peasy. Downfalls I can live with. It also comes completely assembled

Almost Perfect
This is a great walker, especially the tall model for us tall guys. I no longer have to use my walker stooped over with my back aching. The large wheels and well done mounting make it very easy to maneuver, particularly on rough surfaces. My wife and I love the way it so easily folds so flat, making it convenient to fold flat for stowage. It even fits nicely stowed vertically behind the front seats. Braking seems solid and excellent, including for "parking". I especially love the seating compared to my existing rollator with has a flat hard plastic seat cover that's just too damn slippery and precarious for my taste. I do have to say I fell in love with the offered in red. (Ferrari red?) It sure brightens me up! (Which I can really use!) The one darn "negative" is the stowage, which is located at the "back" of the seat, below the backrest. The "Drive" is a very different design from most. Cross zipper is not that easy to reach and operate; and stowage awkward to access. I guess I'm spoiled by the setup on my current rollator, where I flip up the hinged the seat to get to the stowage basket, which is completely removable with an easy-access handle. I did discover the bag releases in a couple of seconds to carry with you, but also to turn it around so the zipper is much closer. Still, I wish "Drive" or an after-market would come up with a larger accessory bag for shopping, etc to add to this otherwise great design. All in all, I love it!

Excellent design, that works perfectly!
My Mother-in-law, who is 90 years old, had a nasty fall, when she lost her balance. She is recovering, slowly, but surely, which is good. But, we decided to buy her this walker, mainly because it looked like it had the features that would give her confidence and stability! This excellent device did all that, and much more! Once Mom learned all the features of this walker, she uses it for every place she goes, and walks MUCH faster than she could before we got her this! It not only offers her tons of support, but having the built-in seat is a feature she uses all the time. I would recommend this excellent walker to anyone in need of such a thing. It is well made, and looks nice. We chose her the red color, and she loves it! We did see another older woman, using the exact same model, only in blue, and Mom commented that blue was a nice color, too! We are happy that she is so confident using her new RTL10266-T Nitro DLX Foldable Rollator Walker, and highly recommend it to anyone who might needs what it offers!!

Well designed and well build
Awesome, large wheels which are a must, when oneโs health is compromised, you need the proper equipment, this is it! It helped to overcome a health issue, where I was perfectly healthy, and within 6 days I was unable to walk. This unit was one of many things that brought me back to full health. Itโs very easy to steer, go over curbs etc.

Love it
Iโm 82 and was very pleased to find the walker completely assembled. Definitely sturdy and lightweight. I used it for the first time today. I had no problem putting it in my car It is pricey but feel itโs worth the cost.

Muy buena, salvo que hay que tener cuidado que se desliza rapido y hay que ponerle freno. No puedes sentarte en ella y ser empujado.

Great for House & Car
This walker is so good for lengthy walks because it has adjustable (high) handles so your arms don't get tired so quickly. I like it so much I bought two, one for the house and one for the car or walks. It is so light that you can easily lift it in and out of a car and it is incredibly maneuverable. It seems to be very well designed and built so I expect it will last a long time unless the airport baggage smashers get too aggressive.
