I have four of them (yes - all purchased and tested in the last 30 days). My 3 boys and I are in scouts and we just got back from Philmont in Northern NM. temperatures from the 70s down to the mid 30s. lots of rain and We camped on surfaces ranging from tents in the meadows, concrete, rock, and pine forest grounds. PROS: 1. blows up fast - about 10-15 breaths depending on altitude (7000-11,000 feet) 2. very light and small. these are half the size of my smallest $200 pads 3. sleep on side/back/stomach - all equally supported, I am 250lbs and my boys range from 120-190lbs 4. deflates in seconds and trifold it and roll it - total time about 5 minutes to put away CONS: 1. the material seems strong but I feel it could snag and possibly rip - maybe its just me but you need to worry a bit more about what you put it on vs. some of the expansion foams like thermorest. 2. no insulation value that I can perceive. on concrete and rock surfaces the pad was comfortable but without insulation other than a tent floor we felt the cold of the stone and concrete. Tried adding a foil emergency blankets under them did not help much. 3. not as wide as I would like. even my 14, 15, and 18yo scouts felt it could be 6 to 12 inches wider. I am a side sleeper and I was OK but if I rolled over I was off the pad.
