I’m so happy with these gel ice packs! As a menopausal woman I get very itchy when I get hot, especially during exercise. These gel ice packs are semi-frozen right out of the freezer yet remain flexible. They stay cold for a long time and help keep me cool and calm my skin. They work even better than the medical grade gel pack I got from the hospital. The first and second photos show the gel pack frozen, and the last photo shows the pack after it has thawed for about 30 minutes. I highly recommend these gel ice packs!

Until I received these gel packs, I never thought about using a gel pack for both cold AND hot applications. Who knew? I certainly didn't until I received my order of two gel packs with clear instructions on using them frozen or heated. Heat them in the microwave from a frozen or room temperature state ( pay attention to your microwave voltage and adjust your power level), or submerge them in hot water. Having two packs and two sleeves is so convenient when you're using them frozen. As soon as one pack no longer provides cold relief, swap it out with gel pack #2 which has been chillin' in the freezer. Seamless relief! And don't forget to slip it into the thin, reusable protective cover before use provided by the vendor. This gel pack sleeve is thin enough to allow the cold to work its magic, but thick enough to protect your skin. So far, I've only used the packs frozen and they did a great job. They felt durable, were flexible enough to mold around my foot, and maintained a chill for a couple hours. When one warmed up, I simply swapped it out with my second pack. I realllly like the sleeve - it was so much easier than using a hand towel that can be too thick and kept coming unwrapped, or using a paper towel that also separated from the pack. I highly recommend this item. Here's to your health!

These reusable gel ice packs are fantastic! They stay flexible even when frozen so they conform perfectly to sore areas. Great for both hot and cold therapy. The 2-pack is convenient to always have one ready. They maintain temperature for a good amount of time and the gel doesn't leak. Perfect size for various uses. Excellent value and quality!

This ice pack works really well for everyday aches and pains. It’s very easy to use just freeze it and pop it into the cover. The ice retention is solid, keeping cold for a good amount of time without melting too quickly. I also like how comfortable it feels on the skin, especially with the soft outer layer. The size is practical and fits well on different areas like the neck, knees, or back. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I wish it stayed cold just a little longer. Overall, still a great and reliable ice pack!

These freeze a bit firmer than expected but conform to your body part quickly and they stay cold for over 30 minutes. Great for pain relief after surgery.

The gel packs are perfect size for the hand-wrist area. They come with two sleeves, and the packs are semi-soft when frozen. We have not heated them yet, therefore unable to rate when heated.

I think these ice packs would be useful for fevers or small bruises, but they are definitely not sufficient for more serious injuries and surgery. I broke my leg, and I found that just ice in a plastic baggie works better than these for post-surgery swelling & pain. These are gentle.. they get to be room temperature very quick. Even straight from the freezer, I can barely feel the cooling sensation through a thin layer of fabric (pant leg) or ace bandage. Also, they sweat a lot. The sleeves they come with help a little bit.

Excellent cold/hot packs! I have tried so many, and most won't stay cold long, but these do!! I only use them for ice packs and have never tried them for heat. I like the length of these for my knees.

It works pretty good, I use it to go to sleep actually cause it's hot where I live. Bought without their mesh thing and I just use a thin towel to wrap it (as it does condense on the outside) and sleep on it as my pillow Life changer

I received this Gel Pack promptly and it's working as advertised. I keep it in the freezer and are using for my Tennis Elbow. Layer of fabric insulates skin from freezing. Stays cold long enough to relieve the inflammation. Wrap is elasticized with Velcro attachment at the end to keep it in place. Stays snug and does not ride down while wearing. I highly recommend this product!

I broke my ankle and got this one first. It was great but I needed more because the nerve damage went from upper ankle to all down my foot. I went with the other strap ice packs this company offers that comes in a two pack so now I have three but I prefer the quality of the two pack as they are slightly different. The upside of this particular model is that it comes with a fabric cover that has straps attached and the (included) ice pack inserts into it, as opposed to the others that have the straps attached right to the ice pack itself and no fabric covers. I guess it depends what you are looking for but I don't regret buying all three and regardless of which you go with, the straps are a brilliant addition for injuries.

So wonderful. I highly recommend for those of us who suffer from frequent headaches. First I bought one, and loved it so much I bought a second. I use them on the back of my neck, and my forehead when I have a headache. They make way more of a difference than you would think! They Velcro on, so it doesn't matter how you move around; they stay put. Then I bought another pair, so I could have both on at the same time, and still have the other pair chilling in the freezer.

Light weight I can wear it around the house. It is a bit itchy and hard to use one handed but otherwise a good purchase.
