Best Stamper I’ve Ever Used
I loved this number stamp, so much I bought a second as a back-up. I haven’t used it, yet, and I’ve numbered well in excess of 13,000 pages. Still works as well as day one. The only problem is when the stamp has to turn over from 99 to 100, 199 to 200, etc. I figured a work around, which is tedious. To do this, at 99s, manually set to the hundredth, but don’t release the stamper. Hold the stamper to the paper and rock up and down, and left to right. Then, release the stamper to continue stamping to the next number. I had to number 51 documents with an average of 250 pages. The absolute best thing about this stamper is the ease of setting the number using the dial. A regular bates stamper requires manually pushing the gears. With this stamper, if you want to replace a page or multiples, you can just turn knobs, and you’re there. Same for starting over. The numbers are large which made monitoring the pages as they copied easier. Re-inking the pad was easier than a bates stamper. The only negative thing, which I haven’t come to, is replacement pads aren’t available. But, for the price, ease of use, and value for the cost, having a second for back ups is okay with me.

The best
Super easy to use, lightweight, well-made, and works like a dream. It just works and is very easy to deal with, does jam up like the bulky American ones, and quite self-explanatory. Even though it’s plastic, it feels really durable and solid, the pieces fit together perfectly. The ink is good quality as well. And considering you get all that for a fraction of what the heavy Americans ones cost, it makes it really perfect. I don’t speak Japanese so I used ChatGPT to extract the Japanese text and translate it to English, but it’s honestly very self-explanatory and obvious to put together so you don’t really need to read Japanese.

THIS is why you buy from Japan!
Great, flawless mechanics. Large print. You’ll need to use Google Translate (with a photo of the instructions) to read the how-to unless you’re fluent in Japanese. Do NOT buy the all metal sturdier “looking” C***a-made devices. They just don’t work. Want dependable quality from a country that cares? This is for you.

all instructions are ONLY in Japanese!!!
You cannot use it for just one number and the numbers are 1/4+ inch high Too large

Great value, numbering is great!
This was exactly what I wanted for my journals. I like the bujo method of numbering pages and indexing lists, but writing them out was tedious. This makes short work of it, it's neater than my own handwriting and it doesn't lose count. I can number and index across multiple notebooks since it counts up to 600. The ink will smudge before drying so use a piece of scrap paper in between pages as you're stamping to blot the excess. This was much cheaper than other alternatives I was looking for!
