Great Replacement Option
After years of abuse by the kiddos, the facial interface needed to be replaced. This option was easy to snap in, lightweight, and the device is comfortable to wear. After using it for a couple of months, it appears to be durable and able to withstand the abuse the little ones subject it to. Worth the money!

Almost had issues with the product. Turns out I was the issue!
(NOTE: IF HAVING ISSUES INSTALLING THE FACEPLATE, MAKE SURE THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY FOR THE ORIGINAL FACEPLATE HAS BEEN REMOVED!!!) I was really hopeful about this face plate! The whole added comfort and light blocking was exactly what I was looking for. Once I started to attempt to install the plate on my Quest 2 I couldn't quite get it to snap on correctly. The best I could manage was a loose fit with a ton of light leaking. I assumed I just needed to look up a guide, which I did. Much to my dismay it seemed this exact issue was happening to a bunch of users! Realizing I might not get to use this product and now have to deal with the headache of doing a return, I took a break and ate some dinner. Venting about it to my wife, she asked if I'd like her to give it a try. I hoped she might uncover the secret and solve my dilemma. Handing it to her she asked me to give her a quick demo of the issue. I'm walking her through how the stock faceplate works and I manage to pop off a small piece, similar to the extender for glasses that is included with this product. After a small silence, I effortlessly attach the kiwi plate and stared in disbelief at my lack of scrutiny. When I look at the majority of the low reviews with photos of the gaps, you can often see that small spacer in the way. I feel bad knowing some people probably weren't able to attach this otherwise fully functional plate. I hope anyone having issues attaching this plate sees this.

Good, Comfortable Fit
I upgraded my Meta Quest 2 face cushion to this model, because the OEM cushion leaked a lot of light around the nose and it was not very comfortable. While this product was a lot more money than others, it is a high quality product that includes a lot of extras. It comes with a 2nd cushion that mimics the OEM cushion. It also includes a nice cushioned pad to protect the lens and an extender for folks that wear glasses. I particularly like the ventilated feature and the additional flaps to block light leakage around your nose. It isn't perfect though. When I use the unit in a room with a lot of morning sun, I do get a small amount of light leakage coming through the vents at the bottom. Given the overall comfort and no fogging of the lens due to the ventilation, the leakage is insignificant. It fits much more snuggly to the Quest 2 unit as well. The OEM cushion very often leaked light because it did not snap into the headset solidly. That is not the case with this product. Overall I am very satisfied.

Constantly pops out of place
Curious if anyone else has this issue but with the design it constantly pops out of place. Once you get it on your face its fine but it can be a struggle to get it in place to put it on sometimes. It fits my face well and is comfortable and easy to clean. I'd still say its a good value. It does not hold sweat which is nice but the durability like i said is a bit lacking.

Must-Have Accessory for Comfort and Hygiene
It is an excellent upgrade for any VR enthusiast. It enhances both comfort and hygiene, addressing the common issues with the original face cover. The foam padding is soft yet firm, providing a snug and comfortable fit during extended gaming sessions. It also helps reduce pressure on the face, making VR more enjoyable. The interface is easy to install and remove, and the wipeable cover makes cleaning a breeze—perfect for maintaining hygiene, especially when sharing the headset. I’ve also noticed improved airflow, reducing fogging on the lenses. This is a must-have accessory for Quest 2 users looking to upgrade their VR experience. Highly recommended!

This replaces my previous ill-fitting face pad very well. The previous one was coming away from the headset and wouldn't stay in place; this one seems to be a far more positive fit with a reassuring click when pushed into place. It feels solid. The padding is soft and comfortable, perfect for my face. I'm not sure how much it could be adjusted because I haven't needed to try to adjust it, but I do think the padding would be adaptable to most faces. I do like the nose padding; I've never seen one of these with that before, but it is comfortable. There was a little bit of light leakage through the vents on top of the unit, but once I'd adjusted the headset's position on my head for comfort and optimal viewing, that disappeared. Overall, it was very easy to set everything up for use in a few minutes. I think this represents good value for money. The last one I bought was cheaper, but as I mentioned, it began to come away from the headset during play and had to be pushed back into place every time I used it. This is a better, more positive fit and, in my view, worth the extra few quid I paid for it.

Comfy cushioning for the Quest 2. Miles better then the standard cushion the headset comes with. Definitely buy this.
