Great!
I have enjoyed the three books in this series. The characters are strong and appealing. I find I keep reading to find out what happens to them. Very imaginative and I enjoy the way, magic users , dragons, other worlds combine! Looking forward to the final book!

A rollicking tale of magic, war, mages and warriors, distant worlds, and dragons
Lindsay Buroker is surpassing herself yet again. The saga of the Dragon Gate develops into three sided internecine warfare between foreign druids, warrior mages fighting for their kingdoms, and the mundane humans caught in the middle. And dragons, oh my!A tale of heroic deeds, thwarted romance, imperious rulers, and mercenaries, with all the characters vibrantly described as they leap off the page into your imagination. A book, no an entire saga, that cannot be put down.

A less than comfortable read
My rating for this book is on the basis of previous works by this author which I have read and thouroughly enjoyed. She has a good track record of writing compelling story lines containing lovable and/ or quirky lead characters with secondary lead characters who may initially be solitary and difficult to like but usualy finally redeemed by love of a good partner. There are elements of this in the Dragon Gate series but in my view there are currently way too many unredeemably powerful, vile and sadistic characters/ villans manouvering against each other and crushing any discent to their control around. Mundane humans are under the thumb of too many powerful and constantly warring magical kingdoms and there appears to be no end in sight to this control.Every new planet that is explored via the Dragon Gates slightly advances the lead characters knowledge of the ancient dragon culture but seem to contain either similarly sadistic power blocks to the 'first world' or the 'crabby' bad dragons controlling what has become a wasteland. Some of the viler characters really need to be removed in the next book for me to willingly continue reading this series.

Dragon Gate series (9 Books) Lindsay Buroker
Another series by this author that I couldn't put down. As soon as I finished a book I had to buy the next one & she successfully kept you guessing as to what will happen next. If you are as much a fan as I am the ending comes as no big surprise but it's well worth sticking with the series to find out exactly what that is.

Brilliant as always
There is a reason this amazing author is one of my favourites, and it is only necessary to read any one of her books to find that reason. It is always a thrill to follow her intricate plots, and enthralling storylines, and this book is no exception to that rule! As ever, a fantastic read!

Intriguing, to say the least and the characters grasped my interest immediately. Cannot wait for the fourth instalment. Thank you Ms Buroker.

More captivating adventures
Another set of excellent stories from the awesome Lindsay Buroker. Not only one fully realised new world, but many. An entire crew of characters and the usual fast-paced, utterly engaging storylines. Just brilliant!Stop reading reviews and started reading the story. You won’t be disappointed.
