I'm an electrician and I needed a way to accurately bend 3" rigid conduit as if you over bend this type of conduit you cannot take it back out! After a couple test pieces to see how much spring back I was getting with the conduit I was able to make perfect bends every time with this digital angle tool! The zero feature is a must as my bender is almost always on un-level ground which is what makes using a standard angle finder much more difficult. I would have expected a tool that works this well and accurately to be much more expensive so I would say if you need a way to figure out angles exactly even if your on un-level ground that this tool will work great for you!

A very good tool with both degrees and pitch on it. If you need to find the pitch of a roof (for example, to decide what tile / vent tile is suitable, or if certain roof windows are within tolerance for your roof) then this is very good. It is possible to perform the same calculation manually - involving a ruler/measuring tape, however I felt there was more certainty using the tool and it allowed me to trial a number of scenarios. If you need to convert between degrees and pitch, it's also very handy and removes any need to consult how-tos online. Truthfully, as a DIYer, it takes a little getting used to, but it was a rapid learning process. It put my mind at ease in relation to the pitch of a roof on an old extension, and will come in handy for future projects. I'd recommend it as a purchase if you need to find pitch.
