Saffron Supplement, 100% Pure Saffron Extract Capsules, Mood & Energy

This works great as a mood booster. I take it for a couple of months and then stop, as directed. I dont notice any appetite control but the pill is small and easy to swallow. It is expensive, but it works for me. I love that it is pure.

Easy to take. Can’t tell if it’s doing what it’s supposed to do

I started taking a GLP-1 a few months ago, and I was feeling extremely fatigued and not up for much of anything, very low energy. I was having success with weight loss so I didn’t want to stop taking Wegovy. After researching online, I added vitamin D and this saffron supplement to my nightly routine, and it has helped a lot! More energy, less fatigue, general better feeling. I haven’t had any noticeable side effects.

Wow, this is a powerful supplement for mood and energy. I respond to both rhodiola and this, but rhodiola caused more sleeplessness for me. Unfortunately, the suggested dose of this brand of saffron caused anxiety for me. It probably was amplified by drinking coffee, but I'm not giving up my moderate daily coffee intake. Also, I don't enjoy opening capsules and dividing doses. However, it did lift my mood significantly through the day (if it makes sense to have a better mood but feel physically anxious at the same time). I decided to try a different brand that offered a 30 mg total daily dose. It seems that many of the studies on depression only used a 30 mg dose. This brand's dose may be geared towards mood AND appetite suppression. I did find less impulse to snack on sweet things while taking this. If you are sensitive to supplements like rhodiola and ashwagandha, you might be sensitive to this . . . .and may want to try the lower dose from a different brand. If you are not sensitive, then it is probably worth a shot!
