Great heater however the timer isn’t that great I don’t actually use the timer, so I wouldn’t get this one if you’re looking to have it turn on and off easily. Otherwise it heats the room lovely and the remote is great that’s a good thing about it.

Just arrived today but so far what a fabulous little heater and I like the temp control so visible rather than a guess i.e 1 2 3 etc I will buy another one for its size and remote temp etc Lovely Ok after a couple of nights I’m finding the controls a bit difficult mainly the book is very unclear ( as in straightforward ) to set a timer on time / off time and as one reviewer said you don’t see constantly the temp It is well made in itself (as said ) but the timer function and clearer in book needs to be better Just an update getting on with it better and see I’ve to keep pressing the selected settings till they stop flashing to set It probably says that somewhere but when people are dying to get things going the easier the better for settings It is small but very easily moved around

First of all, let's get one thing clear. This is a good heater. It gets to working temperature quite quickly and puts out a lot of heat and kept me warm in both caravan and cold conservatory at home. The issue I have, and probably not isolated to this heater, I suspect, is that the temperature control is misleading. You can set it to whatever degree you like within the range, however, it is NOT necessarily the ambient temperature that dictates if the radiator triggers on or off, but I suspect it's own internal cut off. Normally I would set the temperature to be 20 to 22 degrees, which is comfortable enough. However, I noticed that once this radiator turns itself off way before the ambient temperature reaches that. In order to achieve comfort, you have to set it to at least 24 -25, i.e a few degrees higher than you want. In fact I've been setting it to 28 and that seems to be fine then as it heats the rom up nicely before turning itself off. At that point, you can turn it down but still need to leave it 2 -3 degrees higher than you want or it won't work until it gets well cold......... Dropping a star due to the above otherwise, a good strong adiator that will keep yo wrm.

I had other brands of oil filled radiators in the past with big brand names BUT this is by far the best. It heats up quickly and pumps out the heat in my large lounge. Remote control temperature and timer is excellent. On casters, so easy to move around, nice long cable which is a bonus if you can't get to a low level socket. Wish I had discovered this make earlier. Used it in converted garage (with no heating) and it makes the space so warm and toasty I fell asleep in there.

The thermostat seems to cut the heating when the heat itself gets hot, cooling the whole thing down, despite the room remaining cold. Most disappointing after a hopeful start. Out of the window to return, but may well ask for a refund just the same. Had to buy a convector heater for £18 with a thermostat that works. Shame.
