Simplay3 Dig-Free Easy Up Classic Mailbox (Steel Gray/Charcoal)

I'm pleased with the quality of this mailbox. I wanted to avoid drilling into exterior siding and was really unsure about the sturdiness and legitimacy of this dig-free option. I took a chance and am super happy with my purchase. It was relatively simple to assemble (did it on my own), and I purchased sand from a local hardware store. It has held up great through various rain and snow storms. Stays dry inside. I would highly recommend if you're seeking a no-drill, no-dig mailbox.

I love love love this mailbox so easy to assemble and set up outside.I am 64 years old received the mailbox on Wednesday opened it and the instructions were simple I plugged in my drill to charge. Thursday I assembled it in a half hour. Friday went and purchased two 50 pound bags of sand leveled a spot and filled the base and tube with sand and done. All on my own!

I purchased two bags of sand in New Hampshire and then placed my order on Amazon. It was shocking to receive a confirmation of the shipment the very same morning that my order was placed! Two days later, FedEx delivered the new mailbox. I found the instructions to be very clear and easy to follow. The base parts fit into the post very tightly. The screws using the acorn nuts were difficult to install because they were short, requiring extra pressure to thread the acorn nut. Of course, a second person could have helped. Because I live on a cul-de-sac, the post office requires our mailboxes to be on the opposite side of the road and on an asphalt sidewalk to make things more difficult! Because of that, I did not want the rear door to be functional, so I removed the magnet and added a small bracket to keep the door from opening. I wish that Simply3 would make an insert for the back, instead of making it a dual-door box. If I could have placed my mailbox on my side of the road, the dual-door option would have been great! The worst part of the entire project is adding the sand. The funnel that is provided is very small and added some frustration to the project. I wish that the fill holes could have been on the top of each part, rather than on the sides. Overall, I like this mailbox very much and would buy it again! Simply3 is a great product with great product support!
